To me it sounds like a wife that feels completely helpless and just wants her husband to be alright. Truthfully there was something cathartic about hearing her say everything she did and the past few days have felt a little different for me. I am thankful that she is my partner and has allowed me to grow and process things in the right ways.

Please know that there is no right way to grieve, it differs person to person and situation to situation, but it is important to allow yourself to grieve regardless. Be there for your people just like they are for you. Tell those you love how much as often as you can and bury the hatchets that you are able to.
