Carlow golf club member, Eamonn Delaney, has been a member of the Dolmen Golf Society for many years now. The society is one of the oldest in the region. Now in his eighties, Eamonn looks back on the early days of the society and what it meant to him and its members.
A former single handicap golfer, he was in Carnoustie when Padraig Harrington won his first British Open. A proud Tipperary man who loves his hurling, he likes nothing better than when the Premier County put one over on The Cats.
