This film follows the true events that took place during a bank robbery one summer in New York City.  The Vern and Peter discuss how a few key moments were handled in the plot and discuss who would be cast if this was remade. The film following law student Light Yagami who after discovering the Death Note which grants the user the ability to kill any person whose name he writes in there, which he is soon using on the local criminal population, only to soon attract the attention of the illusive detective L as the two now enter into a dangerous game of cat and mouse.

Ed Wood is a 1994 comedy about an ambitious but troubled movie director who tries his best to fulfill his dream, despite his lack of support.

Elwood and Stephen (Gweilo Ramblings / Eastern Kicks) head to Thailand for the latest instalment of their introduction to Asian cinema as they look at possibly the most fabulous western ever "Tears of the Black Tiger". An Eastern Western which combines elements of romantic melodrama with John Woo style heroic gunplay and a Sam Peckinpah western to create something truly original 

We also take a look at the career of Meiko Kaji as well as the live action spectacle that is "Kaiju Big Battel" and their upcoming video game from "Super Walrus Games"

Elwood and Stephen set sail for Mondo island in this second attempt by Toho studios at a King Kong movie as they team up with Rankin / Bass for this follow up to "King Kong Vs. Godzilla". So get prepared for giant ape madness as Kong battles his robot clone "Mechani-Kong" in a battle for ape supremacy!!
