Happy Halloween my little pumpkins!
In honor of the spookiest time of year (and my 25th birthday) I traveled to my favorite city in the world, New Orleans. Not only did I enjoy endless bowls of delicious gumbo and soul moving live music, I had a chance to visit City Park. Serving as New Orleans' largest outdoor attraction since 1854, City Park is one of the oldest parks in the country. With its iconic oak trees and attractions for all ages, this 1,300 acre green space brings in millions of visitors each year...some more lively than others.
I had the honor of sitting down with City Park employees Amanda Frentz, Director of Public Relations and Waymon Morris, Director of Recreational Services to learn more about the park's history and a few of New Orleans' best spots for food and fun.
A big thank you to Amanda and Waymon for their time and incredible knowledge!
Listen now...if you dare.
