This week's submarine voyage plumbs the depths of a somewhat lesser-known gem, the first album by LA's The Dream Syndicate, "The Days of Wine and Roses". It's heavily influenced by The Velvet Underground, an influence they would eschew on their second album, The Medicine Show.
