Chair, Department of Business, Management & Leadership at Medaille College and Owner/Operator of Steffan Solutions:
After graduating with her MBA, Steffan worked in a variety of finance, marketing, and managerial positions. Past experience includes Senior Operations Analyst at Hearst Publishing and Senior Buyer, Supervisor for Market Research and Business Planning, Divisional Business Planner, and Senior Marketing and Advertising Specialist at Delphi Automotive.
Steffan has taught courses in Medaille's BBA, MBA, and MAOL programs since 1997, first as an adjunct instructor, and joined the full-time faculty in 2009. Since 2017, Steffan has been the Chair of the Department of Business, Management & Leadership, and teaches courses in finance, managerial accounting, budgeting, negotiations, and business planning.
Steffan also works with the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership and the Entrepreneurial Assistance Program, training local business leaders and entrepreneurs in financial planning and business strategy. Through her consulting practice, Steffan Solutions LLC, she works with businesses in the areas of financial training, negotiation training, cost control, and business plan development.
