Now I make known to you, brothers and sisters, the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which you also stand, 2 by which you also are saved, if you hold firmly to the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. 3 For I handed down to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve. (1 Corinthians 15:1-5)
We begin Part 1 of a two-part series on the most important, significant, and imperative part of all scripture - the Gospel. Surprisingly, it's not only non-believers who do not know what the gospel is, but a large portion of believers do not know or cannot articulate the gospel found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-5. We also examine 3 questions that can help assist in sowing the gospel into a person's life.
Join with us as we go through the first two verses and explain why the are so important to upcoming episodes. We also hope you will rejoice with us as the Lord Jesus has opened a door for His glorious gospel to go forth. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ!
