AVENGERS AGE OF ULTRON is finally here. And it's loaded with the classic Joss Whedon take on character-based action that took the world by storm the first time around. Except that it also has to do so much heavy plot lifting. So. Much. Plot.

So, it's not as much of a perfect summer movie as the first AVENGERS. And that's okay - especially because it gave us enough material to podcast for two hours. We talk about the character arcs we still liked (Black Widow and Hulk! Hawkeye! Some Iron Man stuff!), and try to parse how the muddled plot held the rest of it back. But, we still loved James Spader! And Thor was still a charming goofball.

DAREDEVIL! Marvel's first Netflix show starring Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio and Rosario Dawson sure is dark and gritty. But is it any good? Well, sort of. We talk about the things we like (the acting! D'onofrio's Wilson Fisk! Rosario Dawson being great!), but spend a lot more time talking about how bored we are of superheroes that torture and beat up street-level criminals. Presumably from poor socio-economic backgrounds. Like, just think about your environment, okay Matt Murdock? 

UNDER THE SKIN! The sci-fi arthouse thriller starring Scarlett Johansson and a cast of Scottish people! Continuing on from the ENEMY podcast, Brian and Chris seek to once and for all find out if Chris is capable of enjoying weird, opaque art films. But there's more than that! We talk about the score, the haunting visuals, and ScarJo's great performance. Plus, thoughts on the movie's message about the female experience, and some insight from Britt Hayes, FILM CRIT HULK, and Devin Faraci of Badass Digest.

WWE Wrestlemania! The grandaddy of them all! It happened again! And we once again rallied cartooning HEEL Tavis Maiden to join us to recap the high-highs and disappointing-lows of this year's event. We talk the year that led to WM31, Daniel Bryan's injury, and the rise of Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns. ENEMY is a 2013 film starring Jake Gyllenhal complete, and is a super mind fuck about identity and infidelity. With maybe the scariest ending ever. It's actually... sort of hard to describe? A man sees a version of himself in a movie. Things get weird from there. We really struggle with this one - one of us hated it, and one of us liked it! Find out who! Also, we go full spoilers and try to wrap our brains around what (if anything) this movie is saying. Enjoy.

UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT has arrived, and the world is blessed to have more Tina Fey comedy in our lives! But, as good as Ellie Kemper, Jane Krakowski, and the rest of the cast is, the show isn't without its problems. Namely, the way it can be completely on point, pro-feminist comedy, and badly mishandle racial representation issues in two key, hard to ignore spots. Listen, as two straight white men try to unpack racially sensitive topics, and ultimately struggle with the show as a whole! But, we're excited for more of it. Let us know what you think!

GALAVANT: ACB's hit musical-comedy series that's not actually a hit, but totally should be! We talk about musicals, our favourite songs, Joshua Sasse having the world's best beard, and the incredibly sharp dialogue. We also talk about the strength of the cast, and explain why you should skip the first three episodes (but that it's still a great show! Honest!).
