    About the guests.

Tilly Lunken writes stories, mostly for theatre. She's a graduate of the University of East Anglia's Creative Writing MA and Royal Court and Criterion Writer's Programs. Most recent credits 'World King' (Miniaturists, Arcola); 'Beastly Belle' (Norwich Puppet Theatre). She can be found @theatreofwords on social media or probably lost in a fairytale

Fran Burgoyne is an actor and voice artist. She can be heard on Audible reading The Ordshaw series – an urban fantasy series with really great monsters and seriously rude fairies. Recent stage work includes almost playing Girl in Theatre Hullabaloo’s Baba Yaga (a covid casualty), Paulina in The Winter’s Tale and Mistress Quickly in Henry IV Part 2 (Cambridge Shakespeare Festival), the youngest of The Railway Children and the oldest wife in Communicating Doors (Leatherhead and Swannage rep) and the world’s worst tour guide in the ground-breaking immersive show Madhouse Re:Exit (Access All Area’s). She can be found on Twitter @franburgoyne

Here is some info about Martin Burns

While Martin has been a writer since before he could talk (which he admits is something of a cliché), the medium of children’s fiction had never been one he’d delved into. His degree is in Scriptwriting for Film & Television, though it's theatrical plays he’s been working on recently. One went into rehearsals in Bristol before lockdown (timing!), though a short monologue was accepted as part of an online fundraising event for Shakespeare's Globe (the piece was entitled 'Ghost's Alive'). He has been part of a collaborative team of writers for Open For Theatre, a company striving to keep theatre alive in these difficult times for the arts. His main project currently is a N/F novel recounting my last ten years as an HIV+ individual and the misunderstood truths attendant with the condition. Many of the themes he writes about have been dictated by these experiences. He has been experimenting with different genres and formats (such as children’s literature) for the past few years and has been enjoying the process immensely. He hopes you, too, enjoy this read!

  • 001: Colourful World by Emmett Wright
    Emmett Taylor Wright

Emmett is a fictional character, a pseudonym, a living creature, a person with feelings, an artist, a broken heart, a nice guy, a bad guy, a friend, a dreamer, and many other things.

He was born in November early in the morning which turned out to be his favorite time to be a creative asshole. He likes to stay up late and blur out words. He bleeds death just as much he bleeds life.

He loves and he hates. Sometimes both at the same time. He remembers and he cares. Sometimes he even rhymes. There is no dishonest bone in his body, considering that the body is hers. She is a temple, he is a hurricane.

He lives in her, therefore he wrights.
