  • 006 Dani Des Roches, Founder of Kismet Concept Studio and Picnic Wear
In this episode we try very hard to not talk about the ongoing pandemic and our coping mechanisms but focus on what we love to talk about the most, which is ….. knitting, of course. I could listen to her all day talking about what she loves about the 60s and 70s and fashion history. She not only talks designers like Rudi Gernreich, Betsy Johnson and Elsa Schiaparelli but also highlights the liberation that knit fabrics meant for the woman’s body. Also, if you still don’t know the difference about crochet and knit - please listen to this episode and educate yourself!
You should equally tune in if you want to hear Dani’s tips on how to find out what vintage era you are, how to shop vintage items, the dynamics she struggled with working for big brands and why you should watch all ten seasons of Mad Men.
