Being a man after God's own heart, King David understood what it meant to be hungry for God. It was one of the things that characterized who he was. But what about us? Are we hungry after Him? Is it Him and nothing else? If not, it's what we need more than anything. Lord, help us that we might hunger and thirst after you.

It's important that we get to know the Jesus we serve; who He is, what He's done and most importantly, what He wants to do. Unfortunately, some are not serving the real Jesus. They are serving a Jesus of their own making. A Jesus they think they know, but have never met-a Jesus of convenience.

Sometimes it becomes necessary to stop or pause and get the big picture. That's what King David had to do. After communicating a list of things he was dealing with, he pauses to take into account that God is in control. Good words to remember.

Contrary to popular belief, God is not politically correct. He doesn't have to be. He is God. Concerning what He has spoken, He has not lied; concerning what He has done and spoken, He has not changed His mind; and He won't-because He is God.

Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft...hard words from scripture, but this is how God sees it. we do well to stay far away from this evil monster called rebellion. Jesus is the only way out.

Time and again in scripture we are told that this life in Christ is a 'walk'. Our walk with the Lord many times depends on how well we can stand-because before we can walk, we have to learn how to stand.

You can't run and you can't hide. Because of the Lord's love for us, the Spirit will not let us go. Ever. Thank God. This is about what can happen when you begin to take heed to the devil's whispers concerning God's love for us. A personal testimony.

It's the reason He died for us. It's the reason we are saved. It's also the reason we are blessed. It's all because He loves us. A timeless word about the love of God.

Though we don't want to admit it, more than we know, we as children of God need for Him to sweep into our lives and bring radical change. This change will take place via personal revival. Lord send a revival-and let it start in me.

As we continue in the Lord's work, we must be careful not to allow life's difficulties to cause us to lose our grip.
Whatever we do encounter, we have the promise of His presence. Because of this, we cannot give up...no matter what.
