A fact that many of us fail to remember is that the world is watching us. Not only that, other believers are too. Paul, in 1 Timothy 4 gives us six principles on how to be an example to believers and others. Words we need to live by.

The wilderness is not a desirable place to be. No matter our reasons for being there, God wants to teach us some things. King David found himself there, and so did Jesus. From them we find out how we can emerge from the wilderness in the power of the Spirit.

I'm sure you can name a few of the good things that Christians do. Things like prayer, worship and bible reading to name a few. What you may not know is that many of these same folk do these things and more without having done one very important thing; and it's a problem. It's the thing they ought to do.

There are two types of people in this world...those who have and those who have not. Everyone falls into one of those categories. Which one are you?

God's power is awesome, unchanging, and indescribable. Simply put, He is unstoppable. What He says He will do, what He has spoken will come to pass, and the promises He has made, he will keep. Help is on the way!

The apostle Paul had no identity problems. He knew who he was and owned up to it. His claim to fame: I am a prisoner of Jesus Christ. What or who has you as its prisoner? Remember that whatever has you as prisoner also has the keys to your life. Lord Jesus, I give you the keys of my life.

Over the course of time our minds become filled with the circumstances of life. If we don't maintain the proper attitude, these things can overwhelm us. This is why we our minds to be focused on Jesus alone; a one track mind.

There's no doubt that Satan has come to steal, kill and destroy. But he's not looking for everyone; he's looking for a certain type of person. Are you that certain one?

Is He the God of your life? Your whole life? We must not allow God to become the God of only parts of our life; a convenient 'just help me when I need you' kind of God. He will come to our aid when we make Him the God of our whole life.

Sometimes what we need most of all from God is a fresh word from God. A word that strengthen, reignite and spur us on in the ministry He has given us; a word that will fire up lost passion and purpose. Lord, we need a fresh word from you.
