  • 14. A Broken Bow Birthday + Validation For French Tips

This past weekend, E and Z headed to Broken Bow, OK to get out of town and celebrate Emma's 35th birthday in... not style per se... but something. She tells the tale of their A-frame cabin and the mystery of the cigarette smell inside, how they spent their time in the small Oklahoma town, and goes into great detail about every birthday celebration meal she ate over the last week because there were a lot. She also proudly shares an update on her french tip debacle and remembers why she hates reality TV, but especially dating reality TV.

    Restaurants Emma mentions are:

    Town Hearth

    Barcelona

    Carbone's

    Sister

The nail salon she always talks about is MiniLuxe

  • 13. Uh, Mam? I Can See Your Tape-Ins

This past weekend, Emma had her hair and makeup trial for the wedding. One went really well; the other went really wrong. She reflects on those experiences as well as accidentally buying hip hugger jeans, her first time getting french tips, the seemingly never-ending search for a rehearsal dinner venue, her thoughts on The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, starting A Court of Thorns and Roses, finishing "Sex Lives of College Girls", and starting Lizzo's reality dance competition, "Watch Out for the Big Grrrls." She also discusses everything coming up in the month of April, including her 35th (!!!) birthday! It's a lot packed into a short amount of time, so buckle up and enjoy!

  • 12. A'ing Qs and Taking Names

She shares her closet clean out adventures, what going to the mall with her mom is like (alt name: why department stores are terrible), yet another staple Dallas spot that her and Z don't agree with the masses on, and gets ready for her hair and makeup trial this coming weekend (prayers welcome)! • 11. Daniel Radcliffe Is A Terrible Kisser + Body Image Breakdowns

This episode has it ALL: Emma's truth on Daniel Radcliffe's kissing skills, stories of St. Paddy Days' past (including ordering a veggie pizza, which Emma would never do), the new puppy next door that Emma is hoping to one day steal, why it's so important to share your most vulnerable stories with others, and her thoughts on body image, the complexity of being a woman, and her own struggles with it all over the past few years. She also implores you to listen to her episode on Merritt Beck's podcast, Beck and Call (it's really good)! • 10. BYOO (Bring Your Own Opinion) Part II

Emma is back this week with a slew of her listeners' unpopular opinions, ranging from TV shows, food items, and over-the-top, destination bachelorette parties. That's toward the end, though. For the first 45 minutes, Emma goes over her week and weekend, including that she got hit by a car (literally), why you should never drink before a massage, some completely unexpected but insanely exciting news from a friend, and how the fuck she's never heard of Raised By Wolves on HBO and why you should probably watch it.

  • 9. BYOO (Bring Your Own Opinion) Part I
Opinions are like assholes—we all have one. Some of us have several and, if that's the case, should probably consult a doctor. In this week's episode, Emma is back to her bubbly self, recapping the whole of her weekend full of both subpar and extraordinary food, BYOB establishments, billiards, and being caught in the middle of illicit romantic entanglements (maybe). She reviews two different rock docs (rock 'n' roll documentaries), the new Amazon rom-com "I Want You Back," and Aziz Ansari's newest standup special. She then dives headfirst into her listeners' unpopular opinions, which she prompted them for earlier in the week. Are T. Swift and Yoncé overrated? Do baby showers fucking suck? Where do we stand on breakfast for dinner? Weigh in and tune in next episode for even more unpopular opinions because we're just getting started.

  • 8. Everything is Terrible and Nobody Likes Me (a PMS-driven episode)

Emma is in her feels this week, guys. While the logical part of her brain knows it's mainly being driven by PMDD (PMS's older, bitchier sister), she can't help but wonder why everyone hates her and everything is so terrible? She vents, she bitches, she complains, but she also recaps her weekend per usual and shares very tiny nuggets of joy. Bear with her this week and thanks in advance for humoring her.

  • 6. Pity Parties, Impromptu Weekends, & My Old Fucked Up Expectation of "Real" Love

In this week's episode, Emma laments about her canceled weekend plans and how she made up for it via booze, food, and just a teeny tiny bit of cannabis. She loses her shit over the show Yellow Jackets, gives an honest review on Murderville, and talks in depth about her past fucked up views of what "real" love looked like and how grateful she is for hindsight, no matter how painful the journey was to get there.

  • 5. WEDDING ANXIETY!!! Also, A Movie Review
In this episode, Emma talks about a very bad, no good wedding-planning weekend but how it ultimately turned around in the best way. She also shares her thoughts about a movie she watched over the weekend, what she's reading now that she's finished Pride and Prejudice, and touches on her frustrations with exercise/nutrition progress that she has no one to blame for but herself.
