    Two Dublin cousins are on a mission to get women of all ages and backgrounds together as their sister sheds concept is resulting in groups being established all over the country. An idea that came out of the first covid lockdown Rachel and Shereen Hughes wanted to create a sense of community spirit among women that they remember from growing up in the 80’s and after successfully launching their own sister shed in Finglas word spread and groups started popping up all over the country and this week a new Sister shed will be launched in Stamullan. Shereen joined Sinéad on 11-1 to tell her all about how sisters are doing it for themselves

    When Paul Mescal took to the pitch in Normal People in his now infamous GAA shorts he sent the world into a frenzy now his GAA shorts along with a signed script of the first episode of Normal people and other memorabilia from the multi award winning series will go under the hammer to raise money for Ukrainian filmmakers. The writer/director behind this auction Orla Murphy of Irish Filmmakers for Filmmakers told Sinéad all about how the idea came about.

    Today Sinead met 9 year old Aoibhín Primrose from Nobber who came up with a plan two years ago to grow her hair and cut it off. She told Sinéad that although life with long hair was annoying at times she kept focused on her goal. She plans to cut her hair next week and has raised over €2,700 for Nobber Cancer Support and Aoibheann's pink tie.  Niall O Brien brings us his views on all the latest movies hitting cinemas and streaming in Reel Reviews plus this week's Friday Floor filler song completely stumped listeners.

    Today on the show Aslan team up with the Ukrainian community to release a new version of their hit song from 1986 'This is' guitarist Billy Mc Guinness joined Sinéad for a chat about the project. We met Trim writer and producer Gerard Gormley who is hoping to screen his powerful 10 minute short film 'the Passenger' in the local area next month. He hopes the film will reduce stigma around men opening up more around mental health issues. Sinéad is very excited to see the trailer for a long awaited sequel to one of her favourite child hood movies.
