    There is a treasure trove of artefacts from Christmas past housed in County Museum Dundalk we want to bring some of these items to life in a new audio feature for Christmas. Each day on 11-1 for the month of December a treasure associated with Christmas down through the years will be revealed in our audio advent calendar. Curator of County Museum Brian Walsh explained how it worked.

Now with the arrival of cold and flu season as well as covid 19 the Marie Keating Foundation are concerned that people are confusing the signs of lung cancer with covid or flu. They have launched their big check up campaign encouraging people with persistent bad cough to get it checked out. Helen Forrestal director of nursing and one half of the Goggle box Tully Twins Neal Tully explained the important message behind this campaign.

    Sinead is searching for the best home carer in the North East she has partnered with comfort keepers to honour and reward carers who are going above and beyond for vulnerable members of their family or the community. Janice Doolan from Drogheda and her husband Noel have suffered huge health implications the last year or so their daughter Jessica who is only 25 has reduced her work hours to take on full time care of them. Janice explains how Jessica has been a real life line to both her and husband Noel.
