Every year, 1.6 million teens in the U.S. between the ages of 13-17 experience homelessness. And that number is twice as high for youth ages 18-25. For this population, every aspect of life is a struggle. Basics like what’s for dinner, where to find clean clothes or getting connected to wi-fi to finish homework are all daily hurdles. Homeless youth are also at a higher risk of becoming incarcerated and ending up chronically homeless. We speak with two experts in the field about how to solve this growing epidemic.
