Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

Father God in the name of Jesus. We are so grateful and thankful for you and who you are and all that it represents to have God, the everlasting Father—the Prince of Peace. The Almighty God is on our side. And oh, what comfort it brings to us to know that we can come to you with all of our troubles, all our despairs, all of our trials and tribulation.

We thank you and we have help in your name. Thank you for being the help that we need. Thank you for supplying all of our needs. We are eternally grateful. We're grateful for the things that you have done. We're grateful for the victories won. We echo the songwriters to say we could go on and on and on about your worth. Flowing through our hearts today is gratefulness.

You've been good to us. Thank you. You have preserved us. Thank you. You have watched over us. Thank you. You have provided for us. Thank you. You have healed us. Thank you, Lord Jesus.

You're so kind, so loving. Full of grace and truth, and we just want to say thank you. We acknowledge your presence. We acknowledge your gratefulness. We acknowledge you as Lord of Lords. Thank you for all that you've done. Thank you for what you're doing right now in our lives. Thank you for what you will do in the future.

I give you glory. I give you praise that you will take care of it all. Thank you. I give you glory and I give you praise.

Father God in the name of Jesus your word declares, oh, give thanks unto the Lord for He is good. Oh, give thanks to the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. For He is good. And we echo back to God. Yes, you are good. You are kind, you're loving, you're forgiving, you're healing, and we just want to say, thank you.

Thank you for blessing us. Thank you for healing us. Thank you for your encouragement. Thank you for the tough situations you brought us through. Thank you for your deliverance. You delivered us out of some tough situations. Thank You that you healed our minds, our hearts, and our souls. We have been transformed by your word and God, we thank you for Lord.

We just simply want to pause and say, thank you, Lord.

For all that you've done. Truly we're grateful. To have God on our side. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen

This is the second prayer in the series, simply thankful.

Father God in the name of Jesus, I honor your name and I am simply thankful. Thank you for your presence in my life. Thank you that I am created in your image. Your word declares that I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, that you have a plan for my life. Not just for my life. But God you have a plan for all of us, and I give you glory, and I give you praise. With a heart of Thanksgiving for your provisions, how you have provided for me, how you have watched over me and kept me safe. How you have watched over my children, the peace of God that's in our hearts and our minds and our souls.

Not only did you do it for me, but you've done it for others, and I just want to pause and take a moment to say, thank you.

Thank you, Lord for all that you've done. I realize that it is because of you that I'm blessed and I give you all glory and praise for your presence in my life.

Simply. Thankful.

This prayer is for Thanksgiving. Father God, in the name of Jesus, I give you glory and praise, and I just wanna pause to say how grateful I am. How thankful I am as I appreciate your creation. God, how you created the heavens and the earth. How beautiful the sky is. How beautiful the grass is. The birds that sing, sing to your glory. And all of the creation gives you praise.

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for the home that I live in. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for the provisions that you have provided for me. Thank you. I'm eternally grateful, eternally grateful for all the things that you have done in my life.

Thank you for saving me. Thank you for healing me. Thank you for delivering me. Not only me, God, but for others. You've done marvelous things and we echo the scripture. This is the Lords doing and it's marvelous in our eyes.

Thank you, God, that we can see your hand in everything. We give you glory and we give you glory. The peace that we declare you are our God. Our God is the true and living God. And we thank you for it.

I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory, we give, you honor, we give you praise. We thank you, God, that your word assures us of total victory in this life and in the life to come.

We thank you, God, that your word says these things you have spoken to us. That we may have your peace. In the world, we will have tribulations, but we should be of good cheer because you have overcome the world. And that means you have defeated, Jesus, and everything that the world has to offer. And in you, we can experience peace. We can experience victory. Even in our tribulations, we can experience your joy. Even in times of sorrow because we know how our life ends in eternal life because of our belief in you.

And so we give you glory. We give you praise for total victory in our life that you want us to win, that you have great things for us. You have great plans for us. According to Jeremiah 29 and 11, your word says, I know the plans I have for you, sayeth the Lord. Glory be to God.

We give you glory, we give you praise that you have great plans for us. We give you glory, we give you praise that you fight all of our battles.

All we have to do is worship. All we have to do is praise. All we have to do is make your name great. And there you are. Sabotaging all of our enemies. There you are. Bringing us out of and snatching us out of the hands of defeat, in Jesus' name.

We give you glory. We give you praise that our lives are covered by your blood in the name of Jesus, that our children are covered by the blood of Jesus. We have your protection and your blessed assurance. Glory be to God. That no good thing will you withhold from them that walk upright. We give you the glory that all your thoughts towards us are good thoughts, and we bless your name. We honor you for your love for us. We reciprocate that love in following you and acknowledging you with all of our heart, our minds, our souls, and our strength.

We love you, God. And then we love our neighbors and ourselves. In Jesus' name. We celebrate your victory today. Hey, glory. With you on our side, nobody should be able to stop us.

We honor you for it. We give you praise and glory, in Jesus' name.

Father God in the name of Jesus. We give you glory. We give you honor, we give you praise. We thank you for this season of victory. For we sing as a songwriter all of our lives, you have been good. All of our lives, you have been faithful. All of our lives you have been, so kind and so we worship you God in Jesus' name.

And we thank you for the wisdom and the knowing and the understanding that our victory does not mean the absence of problems. But our victory means that we trust you through the problems and that you're always with us. You are always there carrying us through the circumstances and the situations, in your lives. So our victory says today, glory be to God, that many of the afflictions are righteous. But God will deliver them out of them all.

Now, that's victory. Glory be to God. To know God, that your word says you will deliver us out of all of our pains and suffering and affliction. Our victory is our faith in you today. In Jesus' name. And we give you glory and we give you praise. Thank you, Lord Jesus, that you are moving on our behalf. You are addressing every area in our lives. Those areas where we have suffered defeat. Those areas where we have not received victory.

God, you are moving in those areas in a very powerful way. You are giving us the wisdom that we need. You are giving us the understanding that we need, that we may receive an increase. Mm. In our lives.

In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We declare total victory. God wants me to win. In Jesus' name. Amen and amen.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, we honor your name. We give you glory, we give you praise. We lift up our voice in praise and worship to you, and we decree and declare that you are good, that you are in control of our lives.

We have submitted our will to your will. Therefore, we know that we have victory, in Jesus' name. And God, because you have defeated the opposition our faith in you gives us the same kind of victory that no matter what circumstances we are going through, no matter what situations we are faced, we have victory.

And this is the faith that gives us victory that overcomes the world, our faith in you. In Jesus' name. And just as you said to Peter, the devil wishes to have you, that he may sift you as wheat. In other words, that he may destroy him. But you said to Peter, I've already prayed for you, that your faith fails not.

And we thank you, God, that you have already, prayed for us and you have already declared victory for us, in Jesus' name. So in this life, because we believe in you, we weigh the same banner of victory in our lives because of what Jesus has done for us. And we thank you for total victory in every area of our lives.

Total healing. In our bodies, our minds, and our souls, and we give you glory for, oh, glory, and we give you praise. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for you all our victory.

This series of prayers is entitled Total Victory. God wants us all to win. Father God, in the name of Jesus, we honor you. We give you glory. We give you praise. We worship your name. We say hallelujah. Blessed be the name of the Lord. We say you are holy. You're magnificent. You are our God, our Lord, and Savior, and no one is like our God.

You're strong and mighty. You win every battle, and therefore we have victory in your name. Thank you for the price that you paid for our salvation. Thank you that today we have eternal life, in your name. And God, we thank you that our victory is in your name. That is our faith in your name. We believe that Jesus Christ is the son of the living God.

We also believe that the only way to get to the Father is through Jesus Christ. And the belief and the confession of Jesus Christ as the son of God. And Jesus as you obtain total victory in this life, our faith in you also gives us total victory, for we are more than conquerors. To him that loved us. Our victory is in you and you will cause us to overcome every circumstance and every situation in our lives. And because you are an overcomer, you defeated death and the grave. Therefore, we have victory in our faith in you. You want us to win. You're on our side.

We give you glory, we give you praise for the presence of God. That's a winning presence. In Jesus' name, amen.

This prayer is for lawmakers as it relates to gun violence.

Father God in the name of Jesus, we honor your name and we give you glory, we give you praise for you are our God. Our father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done. On the earth, as it is in heaven.

Father, we pray for those that are in the position of making laws and determining what needs to be done with gun violence in our nation. God, I pray in the name of Jesus for our president, for the Senate, for the Congress, for lawmakers. For city officials, for state officials. I pray that you would touch their hearts and their minds and that they are brave enough to make the laws and the changes that need to be made when it comes to gun violence.

I pray, oh God, that they will surround themselves with wise counsel, they will surround themselves with godly men and women that will advise them through the spirit of God. For your word says, sin is a reproach to any people. But righteousness will exalt a nation.

I pray that you would turn the hearts of our presidents, our senators, our governors, and our representatives. In all of, again, our lawmakers, I pray that their hearts we'll be turned to you, God. In order that they may do the things that are necessary to serve others and protect others.

God, I come against that selfish spirit that would call them to be concerned about political and election issues. And they will do what's right. And they will do the things that honor you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray that you would touch their hearts and their minds and their souls and God that servanthood would become their modus. In Jesus' name.

How can we serve others? How can we make the lives of others better? I give you glory for it. I give you praise that you're moving on the lives and the hearts of all of our lawmakers, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, the songwriter, penned this song: who is like unto our God. There's no other God besides you, oh God. You're faithful. You're present in our praises. You're wonderful. You are kind. You are the one that dwells in us and among us. In Jesus' name.

And we are the children of the highest God. And we know that you love us. We know that you have a great plan for us. We know that you are on our side. For your word tells us greater is he that is in us than he does in the world. So we have the majority on our side today, in Jesus' name.

So we ask again for the continual examination of our hearts, our minds, and our souls. That the Holy Ghost will shine the searchlight of your word on our hearts in order that we may become the people of the Almighty God.

Do it now, God, to the glory of God. So that we can become better in our relationships.

Mm.

More loving in our communications. More forgiving in our relationships. Work on our hearts so we can respond according to the will of God in everything. For your word says a soft answer turns away wrath. Work on our hearts and take away our anger in order that we may, oh, glory, answer with a soft answer. Answer within the confines of love in the name of Jesus. For your word says and God's so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son.

That whosoever believes it in him shall not perish. But they shall have everlasting life.

God, thank you.

We ask you, to change our hearts, change our minds, change our wills. Change our desire. It's you that we love and we want more of. In the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
