Father God, in the name of Jesus, we give you glory. We give you praise that the year of 2023 is the year of biblical knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and increase.
In fact, oh God, you said to me that we would reach new levels of biblical knowledge, understanding wisdom, and increase. And so Father God in the name of Jesus, I pray that as we read your word, as we study your word, that you would download new revelations, truths, insights to your word today. In Jesus' name.
We ask that you would open our understanding for your word. Just as you did for your disciples, the scripture reads, and Jesus opened their understanding in order that they may understand scripture. We asked, oh God, that you would open our understanding and that the veil of the cloud of our understanding would be removed so that when we read scripture, we may see you. We may see your way, and then we may obey and align our lives up to truth today. In Jesus name.
We are committed to aligning our lives to truth. You came Jesus, to show us a better way that we may have life and that more abundantly. We find that life in scripture today. Open our understanding, that we may know and obey you.
In Jesus' name, amen.

Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.
This prayer for the joy of Christmas was read from the New Testament, Luke chapter two beginning at verse one, and it came to pass in those days that there went out a decree from Caesar Augusta that all the world should be taxed and have tax was first made by Cerenia the governor's school. And all went to be taxed everyone into his own city.
And Joseph also went up from Galilee out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem because he was the house and lineage of David to be taxed with Mary, his expound wife. Being great with child. And so it was that while they were there, that the days were accomplished, that she should be delivered and she brought forth her firstborn son wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger because there was no room for them in the end.
And there were in the same country, shepherds abiding in the field. Keeping watch over their flock. They at night and lo the angel of the Lord came upon them and the glory of God, Sean, around about him. And they were so afraid. And Saint Joel said unto them fear, not for behold. I bring you good tidings of great joy.
Which shall be to all people born unto you is born this day in the city of David, which is Christ the Lord a savior. And this shall be a sign unto you. You shall find a babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angels, a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying glory, beat God in the highest owner of peace Goodwill to watch all man, father God in the name of Jesus.
We thank you for the spirit of Christmas. We thank you, God, for sending your son. That we may have hope and eternal life. We thank you for the joy of Christmas. We thank you for the peace of Christmas in a name of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And so we celebrate the birth. Oh, God. Thank you to our savior.
And we also celebrate our soon-coming king. And we give you glory. We praise that the spirit of Christmas would be shed abroad in our hearts, minds, and relationships. God, in a name of Jesus, we thank you for reconciliation. That Jesus came, but your word says God in Christ reconciling the world unto himself.
So Christmas means harmony and fellowship and peace with God, but it also means harmony and fellowship and peace with our brothers and sisters. We asked that your peace would abide in our hearts., We ask that we would experience and discover the goodwill the blessings that you have for us, we give you glory.
We give you praise that your plan is perfect for our lives and that you are concerned about us and that you love us. Thank you for this Christmas morning, we celebrate. Christ in Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, we honor your name. We give you glory, we give you praise. And we worship you. Thank you for your goodness in our lives. Thank you for your blessings in our lives. Thank you for the peace that we have found in you. For your word says you will keep those in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon you.
And God, for those that do not have any peace today, I pray that they will find peace in you and knowing you and reading and praying and studying their words. And God, I pray that you will send someone into their lives with a word of consolation. With a word of peace, in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I pray for all those that are struggling today, that they will find room in their hearts for you, in Jesus' name.
I hear the songwriter says, Jesus is the answer for the world today. Besides him, there is no other way. So I pray in the name of Jesus for all those that are carrying heavy burdens. Heavy loads. Oh, God. Confusion in the minds. That they would learn to make room for you in their lives. In the name of Jesus.
We give you glory. We give you praise. That you are the healer of the hearts, the broken hearts. You are the healer of troubled minds. You are the deliverer for those that have been held captive for addictions, and perversion.
God, we ask that you be set free for those that are struggling. And that they would make room in their lives for you, Christ. First to be their savior. God, thank you. To be their healer. To be their deliverer. In Jesus' name. Move in a very powerful way. Like only you can. I give you glory for it. I give you praise for the freedom in making room for you in our lives.
In Jesus' name, I pray, amen.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, we honor your name. And oh, what a great name, the name of Jesus. And God, as we enter into the season of celebration, we come to realize that we must make room for you in our lives. In Jesus' name.
So God I pray as we take inventory of the things that we are involved with. Of the things that we are devoted with. God, we would make you our priority, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
And that we will seek you, God, for your purpose and your plan in our lives. And we will commit to the plan of God. We will avail ourselves as to how we can be used to carry out the plan of God. And as you used so many others, as you use so many to bring about the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We decree and declare there's room in our hearts for you. Yes, God. There's room in our lives for you. We make room for you in our lives. Our living for you is intentional and it has a purpose, and we want your will to be done in our lives above all things. We give you glory. We give you praise that you are moving in a mighty way in the lives of our family members, in the lives of our neighbors, and in God, we thank you for the blessing of God that came upon us through Christ's child. That he has given us everything that we need to live Godly in this present life. And because Jesus is alive. We choose life today.

What a wonderful name, the name of Jesus. And God as we enter into this season of advent where we celebrate the birth and the coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We thank you, God, for the plan of God that would bring salvation to mankind all over the world. And God as Mary made room for Jesus in her life, we make room for you in our lives. In the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We make you a priority in our lives. We make our living and the way we live devoted to your calls and to your plan. We said willingly. Yes. And we make room again in our lives for you. We honor and esteem you higher than all of our circumstances and everything that we are going through. We thank you, God, that you are number one in our lives and for those times when we have not considered you a priority, we ask that you forgive us. For we give you glory and we give you praise that you are alive and well in us. And you are our savior and our soon-coming king.

Father God in the name of Jesus we are just so elated and so blessed and happy to have you in our lives, for truly you make a difference. We thank you for the peace that you have given us. Even in the storm, you are our peace because we know that you can speak to the storms in our lives and there will be a calmness that only comes from you.
And so God, I pray for everyone that's experiencing storms, emotional storms, storms in their health, storms in their relationships, I pray now, oh God, that you will speak peace in their life. In Jesus' name. Some are experiencing a storm in their health, and in their finances. But God, I thank you that as you were with the disciples in the middle of the sea on a boat, your word says you spoke to the storm and you said, peace be still.
So I pray, oh God, that you will speak in their hearts and their minds. Give them the peace that passes all understanding. Give them your peace, oh God, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Not only give them peace, God but give them the strength and the boldness to declare no matter what I'm going through, god is with me.
Glory Be to God.
For you promised us that you will never leave us nor forsake us. And we don't have to do life alone. We have you, Christ, on our side. And we have each other.
Thank you for the support that we have in you. Thank you for the victory that we have in you.
I pray a calmness and stillness. Peace is still in the lives of your people. In the name of the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

This prayer is for Thanksgiving Day, a special prayer of thanks.
Father God, in the name of Jesus, we honor your name, and what a great name, the name of Jesus. We give you all glory and praise, and we come to you in prayer with a heart of thanksgiving. For your word instructs us to "Oh give thanks unto the Lord" for he is good and his mercy endured forever. And we echo the summits this morning and we declare that, yes, you are good. And yes, your mercy has been with us all the days of our lives.
And we are thankful because you are a good God. And there is a constant supply of your grace and your mercy is available when we need it the most. We thank you, God, that you are good.
And God, not only are we thankful, but we rejoice with our Thanksgiving knowing that you have commended us to be thankful in all things.
Glory be to God.
No matter what the circumstances in our lives. Help us to develop a heart of Thanksgiving knowing that you are with us. Your word says you will never leave us nor forsake us. So no matter what we are going through, you are walking with us through it. Help us to keep our eyes on Jesus. For therein lies our victory. When we keep our eyes on Jesus.
Help us to align our faith, our mouth, our expressions, and our actions with the word of God. Help us to believe what the scripture said. And then help us to speak what we believe. And help us to align our actions with that which we believe and that which we think, in Jesus' name.
We thank you, God, that we have victory in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And we declare and confess that our position in life is one of rejoicing. We decree and declare that we come before your presence with Thanksgiving. . We come before you with praise in our hearts because of your divine power that has given us everything that we need, that pertains to life and governess.
We trust you in our present and in our future, that you are working it out for us. And we thank you that you have a divine plan for all of us. In the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. So, God, we practice being grateful. Our hearts are filled with gratitude. Gratefulness is the intention of our actions. We do what we do because we're grateful. We say what we say because we're grateful. Always being mindful of your presence in our lives. Always having a kingdom mindset. It is because of the things that you have done in our lives to transform our thinking. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
And God, our gratefulness is not solely tied to what we own or possess, but our gratefulness results from your loving kindness. To know that we have a God that loves us. Oh, thank you Holy Ghost. To know that we have a God that's on our side. We are grateful today and we wanna say thank you. And God, there is a blessing in Thanksgiving and we thank you.
Glory be to God.
That we have access through the blessings of God. Mm. Your word tells us to come boldly to the throne of grace. There we obtain mercy and we find grace to help in a time of need. We thank you, oh God, in the name of Jesus, that as we are thankful, as we show our way of living, as being thankful, as we express our Thanksgiving to you.
Glory be to God.
As Thanksgiving becomes our way of life. We can trust you to bless us. We can trust you to take good care of us. We can trust you to advance us. To heal us. For whatever we need because our hearts are filled with Thanksgiving this morning.
Glory.
Thank you for watching over our children. Thank you for keeping our family safe. We thank you for the blood of Jesus that covers and protects our lives and the lives of our family members. The lives of our children and grandchildren are protected. By the blood of Jesus. Let your blood cover glory be that God, every aspect of our lives. In the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christs. And we give you glory, we give you praise, and we give you thanks this morning.
Glory be to God.
As we enter into the day of festivities for Thanksgiving, help us to be mindful of your great love for us. Your word says, "and God so loved the world." Thank you. That he gave his only begotten son. That whosoever believe it on him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
God thank you that we believe that Jesus is the Son of God. Thank you, God, that we believe and confess that he died and he rose again. And because of that confession, God, your word says we have eternal life in your name.
Glory be to God.
And for those of you that are listening to me and this prayer, I pray that you would accept Jesus as your personal savior. Believe that he died on the cross. Believe and confess that he rose again. And in doing so, glory be that God, you have eternal life. We give you glory, and we give you praise, god. Thank you, Lord Jesus. We ask that you will forgive us of our sins, come into our lives and help us to live according to your word.
Thank you for your eternal plan of salvation. Thank you for the blessedness and the assurance and hope that we have in you.
In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen and amen.
