Hello. This is Pat Willie, the founder, and CEO of the not-for-profit ministry, The Gathering. When women gather, when women worship. Thanks for joining us for this podcast, the two-minute prayer. I believe that prayer is essential. It is life-giving and life-sustaining, and it only takes just a minute to pray.

This prayer is for our children who witness violence.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, I honor your name. I give you glory and I give you praise. And God, I just want to say a special prayer for our babies who have gone through such a traumatic event. God, I pray for the healing of their little minds and their hearts.

I pray, God in the name of Jesus that you would send someone to pray with them, to counsel them. I pray to God, in the name of Jesus, that their parents would be decerning for changes in behavior or anything that would alert him that their child is not handling this well.

And God, I just pray for the healing of those young minds that those young souls. God, I pray in the name of Jesus that there will be no long-term effect of the violence in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

And I pray, oh God. In the name of Jesus, the children will return to their normal time of play. And that they will feel safe to play in their own homes and in their own environments, God, without fear of someone hurting them. I give you glory. And I give you praise that our children are being delivered from the spirit of fear in Jesus' name.

I pray, oh God, that you are surrounding each child with an angel of God. That's gone to comfort them. That's going to bring them peace in Jesus' name. Deliver and heal our children. Protect our grandchildren. We give you glory. We give you praise. We can trust you for your protection.

Thank you. Our hearts are heavy for what we witness, but you know, we know that you are God that lifts our heavy burdens. In fact, you invite us to cast all of our cares upon you. For you carry it for us. God, give us to invite you into every situation in our lives. In order that we might receive grace to go through the difficult times I give you glory and I give you praise for it in Jesus' name.

This prayer is against violence.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, I honor your name and what a great name you have, the name of Jesus. The one that we can call on no matter what's going on in our lives and will matter what is going on in our nation.

God, I pray for the healing of our nation. Your word says if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, seek Your face, turn from their wicked ways. Then you would hear and heal our land. You will hear from heaven and heal our land.

And God, I give you glory and I give you praise that the prayer is against gun violence. God, I pray that the holy spirit would arrest that spirit of murder, that spirit of evil in the name of Jesus. And that every attack of the enemy is cast down in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray to God that you would spoil every plan, you would ambush the devil in all of his plans to destroy innocent people in the name of Jesus. I plead the blood of Jesus and your protection all over our children. Over our schools. Over our churches. Over our supermarket, God. Over a glory be to God, every environment where people are gathered, I pray for divine protection. I pray that you would send angels to protect your people. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When we don't know what to do in the trouble of the land seemed so overwhelming, we thank you that we have a God to whom we can pray. And you hear our prayers and you will answer us.

So, God, we pray again against the spirit of violence. We bind it in the name of Jesus. You have given us the keys to the kingdom, the power to bind and to lose. So we bind up violence. God, we bind up the spirit of murder in evil and we lose your protection. We lose angels that are around us to protect us God in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

And we give you glory and we give you praise for the wonderful things that you're doing in our lives. Glory, be to God. For the wonderful things that you're doing in the lives of our children and our families and our extended families. We praise you for it. And we honor you in Jesus' name. Amen.

This prayer is for the safety of our children and the safety of people.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, I give you glory and honor and praise. And I worship your name, oh God. When your name is holy, you are my God. And God I pray specifically today for those that are dealing with fear and anxiety as a result of the recent happenings in our country. I pray to God in the name of Jesus, that you would be the strength that they need. That you would be the healing that they need.

And God, I pray in the name of Jesus that they will not succumb to the negative that is related to all of the tragedy, god. That they will not become overwhelmed with the oppression and of depression, but they will find their strength in you. They will find their answers in you in Jesus' name.

And God, we give you glory. We give you praise, even though we have suffered a great loss, especially the children and the babies. But we know that the children and the babies are in your arms and they're safe with you, Jesus. I pray that you would comfort the hearts and minds of the parents. God, in the name of Jesus, that you would give them the strength and the grace that they need to walk through this valley of the shadow of death.

I know you with them. Let them feel you'll love them. Let them feel your peace. In the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

This is a series of prayers for those that were recently affected by the tragic events that have happened in our nation.

Father God, in the name of Jesus, I give you glory. I give you, honor. I give you praise. And I thank you for your loving kindness and for your tender mercy. I thank you for your protection. I thank you, God, that you are always with us, your word says you will never leave us nor forsake us.

So I pray that you would be with those families who have lost loved ones and suffered such trauma and traumatic events. God, I pray that the holy spirit will be their comforter, their guide, their peace, and their decision-making in everything they have to do in the coming days. And God, I pray that you will heal the communities of the hurt and the pain and the loss.

God, I pray that you would heal the children of the trauma. In Jesus's name. And God, our pray against the trouble being a long-term negative impact on their lives. I pray God that you would send support groups and counselors, and whatever's needed to administer to the children, in order that to children may be healed.

I pray, oh God for the parents. And those that have lost loved ones, God, I pray for their comfort for their strength. God, I pray that you would be the thing that fills their heart, that void that's in their souls. That pain is in the hearts and minds. Your word says you are acquainted with grief. So, God, I pray that your comfort would be with them. Your strength would be with them.

In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Let them feel your love. Let them feel your divine presence. Let them feel the love of others in Jesus' name. Amen.

Father God, in the name of Jesus. We give you glory. We give you, honor, we give you praise. We worship your name, almighty God, or you are our Lord, our God, and our king. And God, we pray for the protection of our children. In Jesus' name, we pray for the protection of our children that you would cover them that day would be under the shadow of the wings of the almighty God in Jesus' name. We thank you, Got that you would fall every trick of the enemy, every plan of evil glory be to God is being dismantled even as I speak now in Jesus name. He was falling the plan of the enemy in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And i give you glory and I give you praise that our children are protected. In Jesus' name. I give you glory and I give you praise. Glory be to God that our children will live out all their assigned days in Jesus' name.

I've given you glory and I give you praise that is Joshua annointing would come upon our children. They will be as strong in the Lord. They will be our next leaders. In Jesus' name.

To the word of God, They will not look to the right go to the left. They will not lead the things that they've been taught but they will hear your voice. They will hear your voice. And they will obey the truth, that has been departed in them. We give you glory and we give you praise. In the name of our savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Father God, in the name of Jesus. We give you glory. We give you, honor, we give you praise. We worship your name, almighty God, or you are our Lord, our God, and our king. And all how we give you the glory this morning for just be God. And just being able to call upon your name this morning. I worship you. I honor you. Glory be to God. For being in control of our lives today. We give you all glory and grace that I lives are hidden in Christ Jesus today in the name of Jesus. And we have salvation in your name. Oh, how we worship you. Glory be to God. We have eternal life in your name today. And for that, we give you glory. For that, we give you praise. And God, we come today as intercessors in the name of Jesus. And we pray for the healing of the land as intercessors. We pray, oh God. In the name of Jesus that you would begin to move up on the hearts and the minds of your people in Jesus' name. We pray, oh God, for their comfort for you are the God of comfort. And you promise us that you would comfort us in our times of need. So I pray in the name of Jesus that your comfort would comfort the hearts and minds of your people, god. In the name of Jesus. Everyone that's hurting this morning. I pray for comfort and strength. I pray to God that your word would come to them and rise up in them and those that have a relationship with you that your word would rise up in them. And they wouldn't know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are with them. Your word said I will never leave you nor forsake you. Your word says you are always with us through the storms of life through the happy times of life, even when The times of Great oppression.

God, you are with us in Jesus' name. And We thank you for your presence. in our lives. We thank you for the comfort of your word today in Jesus' name. That we have a God that we can count on.. You're faithful. You're true. You are always, with us. In the name of our savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayer number eight is forgiveness.

Father God in the name of Jesus, we give you glory. We give you praise. We thank you, God, in the name of Jesus that you have shown us a better way. And forgiveness is a better way.

And God, I thank you that you are showing us the negative effects on our health, on our minds, and on our thought patterns. When we harbor unforgiveness in our hearts. So, God, we choose forgiveness over everything. In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And God we say the walls that are in our lives as a result of unforgiveness. That shows up as a negative emotion. We pray in Jesus' name, that those things would be torn down in our lives and we will no longer be limited in our living and in our expressions by negative emotions that are associated with unforgiveness, but we are free from that.

And again, your word says whom the Son sets free is free indeed. And we thank you that your word says that whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be delivered. And shall be saved. And we thank you that when we say help us, Lord, there you are helping us or attending us to get past the walls of unforgiveness. To experience a new level of freedom in you. A new level of creativity, a new level of thoughts. In Jesus' name. We give you glory. We give you praise. Amen.

Father God in the name of Jesus, we honor you and we praise you and we magnify your name. Thank you for your goodness and your everlasting love. Thank you that you're constantly teaching us your way and you've taught us about forgiveness.

Forgiveness is a choice. Forgiveness is not trusting. And God, I pray that you would clear up our confusion about forgiveness so that we may choose the better way. And forgiveness is your way.

And as you have forgiven us, We forgive others. And God helps us to know, glory be to God, forgiveness is not approval for what we're going through. But yet it is an act of God. It is what you require. In Jesus' name. The wrong that we went through was wrong. But God, in the name of Jesus, we know forgiveness is personal and you are dealing with our hearts and our minds. And you will also deal with the offender for your word says, vengeance is mine says the Lord, and I will repay. But God, we don't concentrate on the offender, but instead, we concentrate on you. The one that's able to heal. The one that's able to deliver. And the one that's able to set us free from the pain. And everything that's related to unforgiveness. In Jesus' name. Amen.

This is prayer number six in a series of forgiveness.

Father God, we thank you that because you loved us, we are able to love others. It is your power and your spirit that are in us. To cause us to be able to love even our offenders in the name of Jesus.

For your word says that love covers a multitude of thoughts and sins. So God let us wrap ourselves in love. When it comes to us, let us be an example of what true love, godly love really looks like. Let it be operational in our life. Glory be to God. So that we may put aside our grudges and old hurts and old pains and things we have carried throughout our lives. We put that aside and we asked that those voids in our lives will be filled with your love. In order that we may be able to love others as you have loved us. Hmm.

Well, this is the greatest command. But we love the Lord, our God, with all of our heart, mind, soul, body, and strength. And we love our neighbors as ourselves. To do unto others, as we would have them do unto us.

And God, as you have treated us with love and compassion. You have never held on to any of our sins. We let go of the sins of others and we replace them with forgiveness and love. In Jesus' name..

Give us the strength to rise above and respond in love. In Jesus' name. We pray. Amen.
