The 2 Ramblers Podcast: For Loyola Ramblers Basketball Fans

Turnovers and the charity stripe make our trip to Drizzy Drake puzzling and disappointing. The bright spot... Coach Drew does not let us down with his shoe game: AJ1 low Mochas. And they got those pink laces tho. 🔥🔥

Join us as we breakdown the Ramblers' wins over the SIU Salukis this week. Home on Tuesday (59-47) and on the road Thursday (44-39.) Game 1 was what we expected. Game 2 was unexpected. Take out Chris Knight's boxscore and the Ramblers shot 8-39 (20%). Wow!. But the road dawgs get the win. For each game- we give out our Matt Hawes' Hammer player of the game for hardwork and hustle and the JB Alberto's GIANT play of the game. And we have a new Coach Drew shoe mystery from Tuesday night that has not been solved.

In this episode, Sammy D accounts for his errant Valley prediction. Dobber calls out two Wolf Pack members for crimes against Chicago. Dobber also raises hell with Raising Canes and confronts the ref crew on the way out of the Gentile. Oh yeah and we talk about the loss against Missouri State (79-69) and Isiaih Mosley.

Alright Rambler fans put away your heart medication. We got a breather in our road win over the Evansville Aces (77-48.) Lucas and Chris Knight dominated again!!! On this episode we wonder whether the Matt Hawes' Hammer player of the game, for heart and hustle, should be renamed for Chris Knight. "Knight Moves" maybe? Sammy D awards someone the JB Alberto's Giant Play. We also speculate on the chances of Lucas winning the Larry Bird trophy this year.

On this episode, the 2 Ramblers discuss the "Ice Cold" heroics of Braden Norris late in Loyola's road win over Indiana St. (64-56.) The game started slow but the Ramblers had timely 14-2 run late in the first half. A gutty performance from one Rambler stood out to Sammy D. for the Matt Hawes' Hammer player of the game for heart and hustle. And Dobber picks the JB Alberto's GIANT play of the game.

Another OT thriller. What can you say about Braden Norris in the final stretch? In this episode, the 2 Ramblers unravel the clues to this victory over Valpo (81-74.) As always the Matt Hawes' Hammer player of the game is awarded to the Rambler who exemplified heart and hustle. We dish out the JB Alberto's GIANT play of the game. Also Sammy D tells Rambler Nation to calm down with the Rank the Ramblers talk. "Enjoy the ride!"

On this episode, we break down the Ramblers' epic comeback to beat the Bradley Braves (78-71, in overtime.) Dobber shares the harrowing tale of watching the game from the Braves' fan section at the Gentile. The red invaders were loud and obnoxious all game. That is until "the play." As always we award the Matt Hawes' "Hammer" Player of the game for heart and hustle. We also add a new segment dedicated to Coach Drew's Shoes.

It's great to be back. Ramblers basketball live from a JuCo in Utah. We'll take it. In this episode of 2 Rambers we break down our mid-major tilt with the Dons of San Francisco. What's a Don anyway? We examine the folksy sayings of analyst Joe Cravens. And it's no secret we give Schwiegs the Matt Hawes' "Hammer" player of the game for heart and hustle.

On this episode, the 2 Ramblers present an impromptu mid-season review in place of the canceled games this week, we look ahead the conference play in January, and Sammy D. makes his BOLDEST prediction of the year. Merry Christmas Rambler Nation!

The 2 Ramblers double up on two very different games. Tate Hall got the start Tuesday against Roosevelt and dominated (88-49.) We also got a glimpse of the future with a delicious TY to St. Thomas dunk. On Friday the Ramblers headed to music city to face Scottie Pippen Jr. and the Vanderbilt Commodores. Braden Norris made the Southern Bells sitting court-side cry securing both the Matt "Hammer" Hawes player of the game and a share of the JB Alberto's Giant Play of the Game.
