Hal Macdonald and Curt – both jiu jitsu blackbelts – are staples in our local jiu jitsu community. Both gentlemen have raised over $50K for Little Warriors – a NPO providing resources to help children heal from sexual abuse. This was all done through hosting events surrounding their mutual love for jiujitsu. In addition to learning about this event, we go into how Jiu Jitsu has changed their lives for the better. Curt shares his passion for how he managed to start offering jiujitsu programs during school hours at 2 public schools in Edmonton. The only other place in the world this is offered is in abu dhabi.
Navin talks about the opportunities that have come his way as a result of his content creation. He mentions that he and his friend have had many exciting opportunities in their lives, and how some of these opportunities would not have been possible if they had not had certain conversations on their podcast. He then asks his friend to share a moment in his life where putting himself out there had led to a life-changing event.
Navin mentions how he is wired to think about short-term versus long-term gains, and how this mindset has helped him to achieve success. He compares this to the mindset of athletes and rappers who need to stack their efforts to achieve success.

Then in 2022, Navin Co-Founded Brown Ballers and India Rising, the latter being the first ever Indian-origin team to compete for $1 million dollars in the largest global basketball tournament aired on ESPN.
To date, Navin has generated 400M+ views across content/social platforms, inked deals with the NBA, Adidas, Jordan, Uber, among others, and has been highlighted in various publications, including Global News, Digital Weekly, and the Los Angeles Issue.
