This week, we sit down with the guys from the @Section109Pod. In this first part of a series, we cover the @ChattanoogaFC pre-season friendlies and the NPSL campaign. We also answer some supporter questions. Part two of the series will be posted on the Section 109 feed early next week. Enjoy!
In tonight's PMR, we review the 2-0 win for Chattanooga FC over the Milwaukee Torrent. It was a good (yet very wet) night for the blues. Team Captain Juan Hernandez made sure that CFC finished the #MembersCup in style with a brace in the second half to secure the win. This is the last match of 2019, so it's the last Post Match Rant for a little while. Thanks so much to all of you for listening; it's been a real pleasure to do these for you. Enjoy!
In this week's episode, we talk ... a lot. We should have had an interview to share with you, but the Gooner can't keep track of audio files on his computer. So instead, you have to listen to us talk about the last couple of matches, some news from around the world of US Soccer, and discuss a cool visitor who attended the Chattanooga FC match against Stumptown. We hope you enjoy it and, as always, thanks for listening.
Tonight, Todd flies solo to cover the 0-0 draw between Chattanooga FC and Stumptown Athletic. It was a wet and frustrating night for the Blues which saw them create several chances, but no goals. After the match, Todd caught up with CFC Coach Fuller and CFC defender Gabbi Torres to get their thoughts on the match. Next week, we end the season with the last Members Cup match against the Milwaukee Torrent. Hope to see all of you there. Until then, thanks for listening and enjoy!
On tonight's Post Match Rant, we review @ChattanoogaFC's first dip into @NISALeague play with a friendly against @MyStumptown. The Blues got off to a 2-0 on the back of @fdeoliveira93's brace only to have the home side come back with two goals of their own to see the match end in a 2-2 draw. We go again next week against Stumptown, this time in Fort Finley. Hope to see y'all there and, as always, thanks for listening.
Tonight on the Post Match Rant, we review @ChattanoogaFC's 1-0 loss to @DetroitCityFC ... thanks to @WhiskeyIsFine for sitting in on this one as @gr8ftblr is away on vacation. We review the match and then talk quite a bit about where CFC is and where we might be going. Enjoy and as always, thanks for listening.
In this week's episode, we speak with Sean Novak. You might know him as @RED_GRANDMONT. We talk about him, his love of @DetroitCityFC, his podcasts (@451DET and @3menbible), and what he means when he says, "It's not just about sports."
We also review the Cosmos match and talk about some news from around the beautiful chaos of lower league soccer in the US. As always, thanks for listening and enjoy!
In tonight's Post Match Rant, we cover @ChattanoogaFC's 3-1 loss to the @NYCosmos in New York. It was a tough night for the Blues. CFC struggled to get a foothold in the match in the first half and, after making some changes, could not capitalize on the few chances they created. However, we go again next week and we'll be back at Finley! Enjoy and, as always, thanks for listening!
On tonight's Post Match Rant, I (CG) fly solo and review the @ChattanoogaFC - @MichiganStarsFC #MembersCup match. It was a good 4-1 victory for the boys in blue who needed this result to continue to build momentum into the away date at the Cosmos. It's a short one tonight as my voice was giving out a bit, but we'll be back soon with a full podcast. Until then, enjoy!
