In this powerful episode of The 4Ps Podcast, Trunnis Goggins II sits down with Jonnathan Truong, a pastor whose extraordinary journey took him from a deeply devout Buddhist upbringing and intense spiritual training to addiction, trauma, despair, and ultimately a life-changing encounter with the God of the Bible.

Jonnathan's childhood was anything but ordinary. Raised in an extremely devout Buddhist family, he was believed by some to be the reincarnation of a prominent Tibetan Lama. As a child, he was exposed to spiritual practices including astral projection and mind reading.

But behind what others saw as spiritual potential was a young man struggling with anger, the effects of childhood sexual abuse, pornography addiction, alcoholism, and drug use.

By college, Jonnathan found himself facing overwhelming financial and family pressures. With his family deeply in debt and his own future uncertain, he reached a point of profound hopelessness.

Then he prayed.

For the first time, Jonnathan cried out to God—and what happened next would change the direction of his life.

Two women arrived at his home with a message they believed God had given them, leading Jonnathan to begin questioning everything he had previously believed about God, faith, and his purpose.

This is a story of faith, trauma, addiction, unanswered questions, divine encounters, and transformation.

Jonnathan Truong's story is a reminder that sometimes the answer to our deepest prayer comes in a way we could never have predicted.
