Breast cancer is the second most common cancer among women in the United States. About 42,000 women and 500 men in the U.S. die each year from breast cancer. Black women die from breast cancer at a higher rate than White women, even though great progress has been made in the treatment of breast cancer. The 6th annual Fun Pink Pageant looks to continue its advocacy and awareness work, through its annual pageant for people 40 years and older.
