I am back with part 2 of my sit down with The Godfather of the Native Skate Scene, Douglas Miles. Douglas Miles, a member of the San Carlos Apache Nation, is a painter, graffiti artist, muralist, poet, and the founder of Apache Skateboards.  His work can be found in the Smithsonian institute and in art galleries around the world.  

Doug was in Fresno for a short time and agreed to sit down with me and my little bro Erik Escovedo (Mescalero Apache), who is also a dope artist in his own right.     

In part 2 we cover several topics, mural art, street art, painting for the community, chicano art, the Apache Passion Project and much more. Needless to say this episode is fire.

Life Rules: Stop Making Excuses Ep. 34. The Life Rules segment is a new aspect of the 7th Generation Podcast I will be integrating into the show from time to time. I want to share some of my life experiences and rules I live by. I have titled these segments "Life Rules." I will be releasing these as stand alone episodes and in some cases be integrating these rules into others episodes. I hope you enjoy this new part of the 7th Generation Podcast.

The third life rule I discuss is Stop Making Excuses! When I was a young man I made a commitment to never make any excuses why I couldn't do something. "NO EXCUSES" was my mantra and it served me well all these years. Too many of us make excuse why we can't do the things we want to do with our lives. It's a bad habit, but it can be broken. Stop making excuses and start doing the things you want to do with your life. ML&R
