On XS Sport this morning, Skirvo chatted with Duncan Murfet from the Rosebery Toorak Football Club about the new signings to the club and plenty of other positives developments.

Skirvo had the pleasure of speaking to celebrity TV garden presenter Costa Georgiatis. Costa is the Ambassador of Water Night which is coming up tomorrow night as part of National Water Week. The night seeks to create awareness around "Water Mindfulness" and is brought to you by Tas Water. They are encouraging residents to not use their water taps from 12 PM to 12 AM

It was a pleasure to catch up with the author of - "The Last Hermit of Tasmania's West Coast" Geoff Harwood. Skirvo met him on Friday for a great chat about this book which was launched in Queenstown on the weekend. It tells the story of Jakki Stevens who became a hermit on the west coast after being discharged from the army back in the 1940s. It's a fascinating book and a really good chat as well. Today on the Breakfast Show, Skirvo was chatting with Dr Jacqui Triffitt, author of the book ON THE FRONT FOOT, which tells the story of the history of women's cricket in Tasmania. You will be able to meet Jacqui at the Unconformity in Queenstown at the Heritage Railway Station tomorrow afternoon where she will be reading chapters of her book.

The Artistic Director of The Unconformity, Travis Tiddy was in the studio talking to Skirvo about the setup. Please be aware Orr Street in the main CBD is closed to traffic and there are other restrictions as well. He also told us what Crib Road is and as the weather is not the best for this weekend, he informed us how we will be protected from the weather throughout the festival.

109th Anniversary Mount Lyell mine disaster memorial service is happening tomorrow Tuesday 12th October 2021 at the Queenstown Cemetery 10.30 AM. All are welcome. Skirvo spoke with Shirley Scolyer about the service and the significance this historical incident is to the West Coast
