Although the Restoration Temple paled in comparison to Solomon's, the prophet Haggai declared the glory of this temple would be greater than that of the former. The first thing the Jews did upon returning to Jerusalem was to rebuild the altar - this reminds us of the need to keep prayer and worship as the first priority in all of our service to the Lord. Pastor Cameron encourages us to make prayer the foundation of our personal life, family, and ministry.

Pastor Cameron begins discussing the Restoration Temple, seeing that those who returned to Jerusalem had their spirits stirred up by God. They didn't go simply of their own initiative, but responded to God's call - to be His dwelling place we must always ask Him to stir our hearts and draw us to Himself.

Right after God filled Solomon's temple with His glory and fire, He warned Solomon of the consequences if he turned to idolatry. Sadly, Solomon did not heed the warning - join Pastor Cameron as he reminds us that as the Lord's dwelling place we must always live in holiness and obedience to Him.

Solomon's temple was actually initiated by his father David - though David was not allowed to build the temple he received the vision for it and helped Solomon prepare for the work. This inter generational temple is a picture of what God wants to do in the church today!

Why did David's tabernacle lack a veil? Why did God allow David, and those who were like-minded, to enter His unveiled presence, though they were living in the Old Covenant?
