We are told to "work out our salvation with fear and trembling", but we are also assured that it is God who works in us!  Our work is to let God do His saving work - to receive His grace and bring Him great pleasure!

In Philippians 2:12, the Apostle Paul exhorts the Philippians believers to work out their salvation with fear and trembling.  We have a responsibility to continue in the grace that we have been given - salvation is not automatic but requires a response to the grace of God.  Find out more on The 8 Minute Devotion!

On today's episode of the podcast, we begin our study of the "kenosis" of Christ.  "Kenosis" is a Greek word that means "emptying", and Philippians 2:5-11 considers how Christ went through this process; He emptied Himself of His divine rights and glory, so that the Father could exalt Him in time!  Believers are called to follow in the example of our Blessed Savior.
