    This week, I'm talking about the Prehistoric Forest Amusement Park, located in the Irish Hills region of Michigan. This park is the epitome of the classic roadside attraction, with its attention-grabbing mountain & waterfall, and the giant dinosaurs of uncertain provenance. Closed at the turn of the century, this park has sat abandoned for twenty years, attracting vandals as well as urban explorers.

    Time Town

    This week, I'm talking about Time Town, a small regional park near Lake George, NY. The park was open between 1970 and 1981, and had a space theme, with geodesic domes, costumed characters, the ubiquitous park train, an astronaut statue dedicated by Werner Von Braun, and a high-powered Celestron 22 telescope.
