Today on the show we have the very definition of the term one off. Talking specifically about a 22 minute episode of Power Rangers, not something we are likely to repeat but this one is special. Forever Red was the 10th anniversary celebration of the show made during the final American made season of the show and the final show made during Saban's original ownership.

Forever Red brings 10 Red Rangers, 1 from each of the previous seasons and teams them up to take down a previous villain in the form of the Machine Empire. This type of format has never been repeated and makes this episode stand out despite 30 years worth of stories to compare with. The episode was also directed by the legendary Koichi Sakamoto and features a lot of great action in the second half of the episode.

It's time for a solo episode and a bonus episode all rolled into one! 2023 marks 30 years since the original teenagers with attitude first dawned the spandex clad suits and set out to save the world from evil space aliens! To commemorate that fact Hasbro and Netflix have given us Once and Always, a 55 minute special reunion, epilogue and potential setup for what's next for many of the characters that we last saw over 27 years ago. At the time of recording the MMPR special was number 3 on Netflix's US film charts and number 5 in the UK.

Naturally only I could make a two hour episode from a 55 minute special where I'm just talking to myself... I hope you enjoy it regardless!
