Through my own experience years back, I know that there are LOTS actors out there, stuck in bullsh*t 9 til 5 jobs - that they feel they HAVE TO WORK - in order to survive.

I had the same mentality for 11 years, until I broke free of it a decade ago.

In this week's #FiveToThrive episode, I want to inspire you guys to do the same!

Listen to this ep - then I want you to #JustStart! :)

After 16 years playing the role of Hayley Cropper in Coronation Street, Julie Hesmondhalgh has become a UK national treasure!

Since leaving the show a couple of years back, she's gone on to land parts in some incredible dramas - including a new lead in series 3 of ITV's 'Broadchurch' - which started LAST NIGHT!

I gave Julie a call to get her take on staying positive as an actor, how to fight back when you're feeling down in the dumps, and why staying alive CREATIVELY is CRUCIAL to your acting career and life SUCCESS!

Julie is just incredible and has a MASSIVE HEART!

Enjoy and please share folks! :)

This one's gonna divide opinion folks - but that's why I had to address it!

In this episode of #FiveToThrive, I talk about the hordes of actors out there, who think they are way too 'fancy', to be working on anything for FREE.

I personally think this is a short-sighted, GUARANTEED way to LOSE in the acting industry.

Listen now, to hear why!

I'll be honest - in this Periscope replay, I have a bit of a nuclear RANT - but it's all for the greater good!

Over the last 18 months, I've seen the emergence of dozens of companies, all vying for actors' money.

The problem is that half of these companies are ran by completely unqualified people, who are promising actors success, that they have NEVER experienced themselves.

It's bullsh*t - and I'm going to start calling people out on it

Listen to this scope and discover how to stay safe out there!

This present, according to the old man, is, "the best present a person can receive."

Listen to this scope to discover how you can live in the present, by creating your own future!

I've had a fair few emails recently, from actors who are feeling low, and want to give up.

We've all been there - so don't panic if that's YOU right now.

I decided to pull out my phone and call up my friend Rob James-Collier (Downton Abbey, The Level) to get his take on things.

Have a listen!

In this week's #FiveToThrive episode, I talk about the importance of INTEGRITY!

You see, to me - integrity is EVERYTHING.

Being true to your purpose in life, acting with honesty, and having strong moral principles are the real keys to success.

Unfortunately, not everyone in the acting industry agrees - and I'm here to call those out who don't!

Listen and let me know what you think! :)
