Denise Gossett:
Denise has been an actress in Television & Feature Films for over 20 years! She can most recently be seen in the Tom Hiddleston movie "I Saw the Light", the Mel Gibson starring Feature Film "Get The Gringo" and the Morris Chestnut movie "When the Bough Breaks". In addition to her acting career, Denise founded Shriekfest film festival in 2001!
Born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Denise Gossett came to Los Angeles after moving from Harrisburg, Illinois, to Wassau, Wisconsin, and living for a time in Orlando, Florida, with her parents and younger brother. Although Denise has always expressed an interest in acting, it wasn't until her senior year in high school that her interest truly piqued. After performing in the "Female Odd Couple", she auditioned for a scholarship towards schooling at SCC, which she was awarded. Denise immersed herself in theater, working behind the scenes as well as onstage. After receiving her Associate's Degree, Denise transferred to Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, also having received a scholarship towards her studies.
Such dedication to the theater not only led to the furthering of Denise's education, but to other opportunities that would build upon her interest in acting. In 1991, she played the role of Lena Luthor during the fourth season of "The Adventures of Superboy". Upon moving to Los Angeles, a year after receiving her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theater, she immersed herself with Improv (taking classes at the famed Groundlings), acting classes and auditions, which led to working on commercials for Wal-Mart, Boeing, United Health Care, Secret Deodorant and Quicken Loans. Denise soon found herself working on Television in a variety of roles, appearing on such shows as "The Office", "The New Adventures of Old Christine", "Samantha Who?", "Veronica Mars", "The Right Stuff", and "Drake & Josh." Denise also has recurring and series regular roles on television series such as Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101" as Tipper Rivers, "HBO/Deadwood Mysteries", "The Great Imposter" (TV Pilot), "Fashion House" as well as the "M.O.W.'s: The Last Ride" (starring with Dennis Hopper) and "The Life of Tonya Harding."
After starring in the Horror Feature Film "Chain of Souls", Denise founded the Shriekfest Film Festival in Los Angeles. With over two decades of success, the festival has given Denise the opportunity to help numerous filmmakers and screenwriters who work with an ethic of hard work and dedication, one that she has held to the whole of her career. The success of Shriekfest has led to such accolades as it being called: "LA's Most Successful & Entertaining Horror Film Festival" by LA Weekly, 2021 MovieMaker Magazine top 50 best genres festivals!, 2021 Dread Central Voted 1 of the Best Horror Festivals in the World! Terry Dexter was born in Detroit, Michigan. Dexter's father also a singer, exposed her to a range of music especially from Detroit born artists during her childhood such as Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Anita Baker and also other music genres such as country and jazz. She began writing songs and singing in her uncle's church gospel choir at the age of 6. Her aunt who is a gospel singer and musician taught Terry her first gospel songs.
From the age of 9 to 14, Dexter was a lead singer in the four-piece band Tristar who played live all over the Detroit area and neighboring cities. She began singing background for other artists at age 11, most notably for Simply Red. At age 13 she signed to Elektra Records, but an album on the label never materialized. Dexter signed to Warner Bros. Records in 1998 in her late teens, and she released her eponymous debut album and two singles from the album, "Better Than Me" and "Strayed Away" in 1999 (although her debut single, "You'll Never Miss Me ('Til I'm Gone)" featured on the "Rush Hour" film soundtrack was released via Warner Bros. subsidiary Reprise Records). She then moved to A&M Records and was featured on the single "Magic" alongside 'The Black Eyes Peas' as part of the "Legally Blond" film soundtrack but left the label without having released an album. Dexter's critically acclaimed second album, Listen, spanned two singles and was released via Penny's Gang Records/Universal in 2008. Dexter's voice and songwriting skills has been featured on music releases by Patti Labelle, Jaheim, Eric Benet, Wynona Judd, Micheal McDonald, Eminem, Paul Taylor, Preston Glass, Will.i.am and the late great George Duke. On the electronic music genre side Terry has been featured alongside DJ/producer mavens: Roy Davis Jr, Hex Hector, Steve Hurley, Juan Hoerni, Agent X, Corvino Traxx, DJ Peran and more.
Dexter's voice and songwriting has been featured in TV and film such as, "The L Word", "Not Easily Broken" "Kings and Queens" "Burn Notice", "Cover", "The Game", "Deliver Us From Eva" "The Real O'Neals" and "Family Guy". She also co-wrote and recorded the theme song to the NBC television series The Playboy Club as well as her voice being featured on songs also featured in the show such as her soulful rendition of "Walk Like A Man" which was included on the aligning soundtrack released on Verve Records.
Dexter made her feature film debut in Deliver Us from Eva (2003). She was later approached by film director and playwright David E. Talbert, who recruited her to star as the female lead character, Tyme Prentice, in his musical Love in the Nick of Tyme (opposite Morris Chestnut). She's appeared in indie films such as "Brickwalk Walk Cafe", "Tent City USA", and the powerful award-winning, "Battle Buddy" in the role of Sgt. Rainey. She co starred as 'Leshawna' in the feature "A Silent Cry Aloud" based on true events, as fun loving "Kim" in the newly released romantic comedy "Dating While Black" and the upcoming "The Choir Director" in the role as 'Peaches'.

Anne Johnstonbrown is an actor, filmmaker, musician and voiceover artist. She has a Master's Degree in Theatre Arts and has worked as an Adjunct Professor of Theatre Arts at several Southern California universities, including The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles where she taught Acting, Auditioning and the Business of Acting.
As an internationally-renown songwriter, many of Anne's compositions can be heard worldwide, from Canada to Africa, on radio and beyond. She is also the author of several books of varying genres, including children’s and mainstream fiction and non-fiction. Her most celebrated works are The 10 Commandments of Theater and True to archeType: A Guide to Characterization in Comedy, both published by Smith & Kraus, the world’s largest publisher of theatre arts books.
Over the past 30 years, Anne has enjoyed an illustrious career on the stage. As an Equity actor, Anne appeared on the famed Kodak Theatre stage (now The Dolby Theatre) as the Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and has toured the U.S. with other national shows. She is also an award-winning audiobook producer and has released nearly 100 published projects over the past decade, many of which are the works of New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors.
Anne has a heart for the homeless and has spent the better part of a decade working with the residents of Skid Row in Los Angeles. Her book, My Name’s Lyman, chronicles the life of a homeless man and the various destinies he might have lived had he (or those around him) made different choices. The book became a hit musical in Los Angeles (LYMAN The Musical) and can now be seen in a series of award-winning short films (A Place Less Cold, Fortune In Gold, and Leaving My Past Behind). The screenplay for the feature film is currently being shopped for future production.

Diahnna Nicole Baxter:
Diahnna Nicole Baxter (director/actress/producer) is a ruthless storyteller who addresses trauma as an opportunity for transformation through storytelling. A pioneer of the web, she co-created, co-wrote and starred in SATACRACY 88, the first web series to win an Emmy Award, and was nominated again the following year. She also took home the People's Voice Webby Award. A graduate of Duke University, her studies of Literature and African/Women studies took her to Cairo, Egypt where she worked with famed activist and writer Nawal Al-Saadawi. Returning to the states with a new worldview, Diahnna integrated her love for storytelling and passion for studies of marginalized women's voices with performance.
Diahnna has been on a multitude of television sets as an actress (Tell Me Your Secrets, Scandal, True Blood, Jane the Virgin, American Crime Story, The Fosters) to name a few. She wrote, produced, and starred in her first short film, Cowboy's Girl, which screened at Palm Springs International Short Film Festival, Toronto International Black Film Festival, PAFF, and many other festivals around the country. Her solo directorial debut, Epigenetics, is shining in the festival circuit. She is also developing a limited series, Finding Lady, about Billie Holiday.
