One of the most important things I did for myself and my family along this journey was to seek out a woman to disciple me, a woman who has been through this crazy journey herself and could pass that wisdom along to me (please please pleeeease). Enter: Carole. I doubt she knew how important our coffee dates would become to me, but I'm so glad we made it work.

Episode three of this podcast is going to be a little bit different, but it contains a story that is so close to my heart. Often along this journey, we get caught up in one side of the picture: ours. We forget that with our joy comes brokenness for someone else. That's not to say that we are the bad guys by any means! But it is so important to remember the mamas who gave birth to the sweet babies we call ours.
