The Tortoise Bus pays respects at the site of the Wounded Knee Massacre where they meet an Indian man who tells them the story of his relatives who were butchered by the US Seventh Cavalry, eighteen of whom received the Congressional Medal of Honor for their actions that day.

War breaks out between the tribes in a secret mud hole in South Dakota. Despite how deliciously dirty everyone gets the mud leaves them all feeling as clean as a newborn.

Despite their illicit reputation, the Indians allow the Company to camp on their private land called Cuny Table. It's a wide plateau overlooking the entirety of Badlands National Park. The Lakota have given the peak a special name that translates into "Sheep Mountain Table." For the first and only time ever, with express permission from the landowner, two adventure busses were ushered up to the top of Sheep Mountain Table and allowed to camp there for the night. What happens there will change Johnny's life forever!

Since the 1970s, the Adventure Bus Company has been having dinner with the Indians at a place called Cuny Cafe and camping on the family's private land on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Come meet the family, experience the atmosphere and enjoy a hand made Indian taco, something most Americans have never experienced.

In a ghost town called Scenic, there’s a bar that refuses to serve Indians. We meet three Lakota Indians from the Pine Ridge Reservation and learn from them and feel their pain. Jewels reveals her dark past and use of the payphone alters the lives of nearly everyone on board.

The bus arrives at dawn in Badlands National Park where Johnny has a transformative experience in the strange new landscape. The crew goes on a hike before breakfast and tours the park for the day, experiencing Buffalo and prairie dogs for the first time before ending the day at a swimming hole.

As the drivers said, the real fun starts west of the Mississippi. This proves true with a wild dance party in the parking lot of a liquor store in the Middle of Nowhere, Minnesota. The fun continues at a gorgeous lake where the hijinks continue, and the passengers hear more driver stories from Brian’s past life as a Caretaker of the Company's Baja Beach Camp.
