He shares his advice on how you can find purpose in your personal life, the business you do, and your community.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    • Thinking in decades instead of weeks, months, and years with your goals.
    • The value of finding resources online to learn. He learned about real estate and business development during his first year in college!
    • Having a purpose in your enterprise. The need for community and civil prosperity.
    • Building a strong online presence and creating value for your audience.
    • Spending time to hone in on improving your business.
    • And more!

    About Michael Sophia:

Michael Sophia is the Founder of Prosper & Purpose Media Co. -

I am an avid student of life. Devoted in my efforts, I'm a social entrepreneur, and in my work specifically with Prosper and Purpose, I'm an advocate for greater self-awareness and relevance in our work as business and organization leaders, because our world needs transformational development.

I believe more authentic intelligence and creativity is necessary for the challenges we face. I'm hopeful to encourage and inspire these capacities in my friends and colleagues, and in our broader online community.

I'm also the founder of Advancement Academy - a platform for personal growth, health and vitality, and transformational development.

In an early career in the fitness industry, I grew as a manager of over a dozen fitness centers, then as a strategic advisor and consultant - where I'm grateful to have positively connected with and impacted countless thousands of lives and taught advanced business success strategies to hundreds of coaches, managers, and operators.

Then, I felt the need for an important shift. I wanted to awaken to more of life, so took several years away from business and a conventional lifestyle; I turned to Nature, traveled around the world, and immersed in study of the timeless arts of self-awareness and philosophy.

From this, I gained a feeling of a true sense of the times and the many transformative needs of the world. Now, more than ever, my passion to serve others is expanding, though I am still new and growing with an online presence. I'd like to invite and encourage you to stay connected by joining our email list and connecting on social media, and please share anything with your friends and community that inspires you.

  • Boundaries in Balance with Betsy Koepke

Title: Boundaries in Balance With Betsy Koepke

Join Travis Sims and Betsy Koepke as they talk about setting boundaries and creating balance. Betsy is a go-getter who found more to life in the personal development space. She shares her take on the balance between working and relationships, managing your passions, and dealing with internal stress.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    • Readjusting and falling into alignment, especially in a relationship setting.
    • Identifying what is fulfilling for you and not mixing it up with your partner’s passions.
    • Using other outlets to spread yourself out. You can share with other people or communities that share the same passions you have.
    • Focusing on one thing that’s working well for you and find other positive things.
    • Turning off your connection with sources of stress.

    ~

    About Betsy Koepke:

Since I was 5 years old, I have been on a soul-searching mission trying to conquer my demons and live my own truth. That journey has led me to the study of psychology, anthropology, astronomy, world religions, mythology, education, and philosophy. The road that I have traveled has included living in the woods of Virginia with a group of 12 teenage girls, hiking the Appalachian Trail, living and traveling up and down the west coast of the USA, studying in London, and trekking through Southeast Asia.

My study and practice of mindfulness, meditation, and yoga have led me to understand that we really are living in an east meets west world where thousands of years of practice as well as current day scientific research all point to one common understanding…that the human mind and psyche are the underlying forces behind who we are, how we feel, and how we behave.

This is an amazing time to be teaching and coaching, and I am excited and honored to be poised on the leading edge of what’s to come!

  • Choosing Joy with Melissa Newkirk

Join Travis Sims and Melissa Newkirk as they talk about choosing joy. Melissa is one of the first members of AGC and a business coach that helps people change their mindset and choose joy all the time. The time that we have now might be the opportunity you’re waiting for. Stay tuned, and enjoy the podcast!

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    • The power you have over your emotions you feel and the decisions you make
    • The value of having a backup plan. You don’t know what life brings!
    • “Pivoting” to something you love doing and make money out it.
    • Finding the way to get to your big dreams. What do you do to get there?
    • And more!

    ~

    About Melissa Newkirk:

It is my life's purpose to be the positive influence in the people's lives around me, and inspire them to achieve their full potential!   I have a strong desire to help others develop their dreams into reality!

My "career" in the health care field began when I was still in high school.  As long as I remember, I've loved caring for others.  When a freshly-graduated chiropractor opened a new office, I was the only employee and typed the health insurance claim forms.  Creating systems of efficiency for this growing office, I helped foster a low stress environment.  I have attended many years of chiropractic and business management seminars and had several business coaches in office.  I learned much, driving the office growth into a large multi-disciplinary natural health care office, housing 4 chiropractors, 2 massage therapists, and 4 part-time medical doctors.  I also supervised a support staff of 10 employees. The environment in the office was so welcoming, even the patients constantly said they loved coming in for care!

After this business was sold to new owners, I continued caring for others in multiple ways.  Whether lifestyle management, coaching, or encouraging, I love sharing my wisdom and experiences.  I believe we need a consciousness of encouragement, and this is what I consistently bring to my clients.
