The battle is between who is more esoteric...Candy or Eugene? They both do their best by immersing themselves in Renaissance ethos.

And for the record Olivia Colman is not in COUNTER PART. It is Olivia Williams.

Folkways, snow ways and hot tea. How do you like your road kill? Barbeque.

Please email the agents about anything at:

Eugene and Candy have something in common. Sort of. The movie stars Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves.

Candy is researching the history of Hollywood logos for her upcoming presentation at the Southwest Popular/American Culture Association.

Eugene is thinking about starting a new hobby and it's a Doozy.

We would like to thank our listeners and our guests this year for making life way more interesting. Thank you.

Thank you for listening and happy holidays!

Eugene introduces The National Film Board of Canada to our listeners outside of  the land of maple leaves with three film reviews. Candy reviews a top shelf restaurant in Chicago called Machine in the Wicker Park neighbourhood.

The agents wind their way through a bunch of topics like linguistic forensics, the Unabomber, MK Ultra, Stompin Tom Conners, a shout out to Sandra Bullock and they read two listener's mail. Two!

Thank you for listening! If you watch SUCCESSION you'll know why this episode is called "Nosy Pedestrians." The agents loved the lush, bitter finale of the third season series.

Both Candy and Eugene read Canadian-based writer Thomas King's novel INDIANS ON VACATION.

The podcast visits with a Haiti school administrator artist and educator Susan Frame. Susan fills us in on life in Jakmel, Haiti's capital of arts and culture, and how important arts education is in the city.

Other notable topics include The Matrix, the non-fiction book THE DAWN OF EVERYTHING, GALLERY OF CLOUDS by Rachel Eisendrath, and the series BMF.

Please email us your book or movie recommendations or thoughts or reactions to our topics.  Email us here:
