AI och maskininlärning inom industrin - Dawan Mustafa - Digitalisering&Industri4.0 podden

Dawan Mustafa är universitetslektor på Borås Högskola. Han har gedigen erfarenhet inom akademin samt inom industrin och delar med sig sina tankar om maskininlärning och yrket data scientist.

De frågeställningar vi tar upp:

- Vad är data? Hur fungerar maskininlärning? Hur kan företag bli mer datadrivna?

Enligt Dawan så kommer utvecklingen inom AI att öka i snabbare takt då mängden data ökar och att våra datorer bli kraftfullare och snabbare. Vi får också lära oss vilka kompetenser som kommer att bli viktiga och vad man kan göra för att hänga med i utvecklingen.

Hur skapar man ledarskap och kultur för kontinuerlig innovation?

Dr Annika Steiber har studerat flera av världens mest framgångsrika företag inifrån. Själv har hon varit en framgångsrik ledare inom allt från startups till större företag. Annika Steiber berättar om hur hon lyckades ta sig dit, vad hon kom fram till genom sin forskning och vilka faktorer som präglar företagens framtid.

Annika Steiber MSc i industriell ekonomi och teknologie doktor från Chalmers, fick möjlighet att göra något som få forskare fick göra. När hon skrev sin avhandling fick hon bo på Googles huvudkontor i Kaliforniens Silicon Valley.

Studierna och avhandlingen resulterade bland annat i boken "Google modellen", som idag används av flera olika sektorer som handbok för ledarskap för ökad innovationskraft. 2016 publicerades hennes senaste bok "The Silicon Valley Model – Management for Entrepreneurship". Boken var i flera veckor på Amazons "Hot List" av nya managementböcker.

How do you create leadership and culture for continuous innovation?

Dr Annika Steiber has studied several of the world's most successful companies from the inside. She herself has been a successful leader in everything from startups to larger companies. Annika Steiber talks about how she managed to get there, what she came up with through her research and what factors characterize the future of companies.

Annika Steiber MSc in Industrial Economics and Doctor of Management of Technology from Chalmers, had the opportunity to do something that few researchers had to do. When she wrote her thesis, she was allowed to stay at Google's Google headquarters in Californian Silicon Valley.

The studies and thesis resulted, among other things, in the book "Google modellen", which today is used by several different sectors as a handbook for leadership for increased innovation power. In 2016, her latest book "The Silicon Valley Model – Management for Entrepreneurship" was published. The book was for several weeks on Amazon's "Hot List" of new management books.
