Yesterday while working on my latest online class it struck me that I must have a lot of faith in myself and my work. I'm investing so much time into the latest class. For all that time invested I'm not even certain about what the return will be. But you know what? I believe in the projects I do. I have to, I'm responsible for growing this business after all!

Today is tech talk Tuesday, and we've got 2 subjects today. First, do you care about smartphone specs at all? Do you just want it to work, and so long as it does the specifications don't matter? That's the camp I fall into.

Our second topic for today. Do photography rules mean what they did 20 years ago? Probably not. The size and format of your final images are all over the place these days, so maybe it's time to rethink some of those rules.

I often hear from park and resort owners that their target customer base is too old to use the Internet, and too old for tech. That's just not right at all, and today we'll talk about that. Remember, if you're 65 today you were only 40 when the net became really popular. So I know you know about it. And I know you're using the net to find goods and services. I believe in you, Amazon believes in you, but smaller businesses sometimes don't believe in you!

This is a recurring theme for me. When I started traveling with my Airstream in 2006 it felt like a race across the country. I was tired from long driving days, and I missed out on a lot. And the moment I slowed it down a bit? Yeah, so much more enjoyment.

If you're a full time RV'er ask yourself this. "Why am I in a rush?" If you don't have a good answer, maybe it's time to slow down a little.

There always seems to be one type of software update or other waiting for us. Our smartphones seem to be getting constantly updated for apps or OS. Our computers are always crying out about this over due update or that one. And our websites often need regular attention as well. Every day I feel like I have one update or other to do!

This is a universal thing if you're a tech user. You don't need to be a full time RV'er to experience this. And today we'll talk all about updates.

Today I start into my next class for Udemy. A full landscape photography class covering the primary cameras we're all using these days. Phones, Drones, Mirrorless Cameras, and DSLRs. No matter what you're shooting with, I'll be covering it in this upcoming course.

For my highly mobile audience... Doing these courses is part of my job from my RV. Getting creative about revenue streams is key to full time RV'ing. So hopefully the work I've been sharing here will be of interest to you!

Everybody has been talking about the Apple Keynote, the new iPhones, and iOS 12. Yesterday I went ahead and updated my phone and iPad. A little unnerving, but so far it's working well. What's the one feature that I'm excited about? Listen in.

The second part of today's podcast talks about running a business out of your RV, and how some people devalue your work because it looks like "fun" to them. Seriously, you have no idea how often people discount what it is you do if you're not parked in an office or cubicle all day!

Building your business in the middle of nowhere doesn't sound like a great idea. Building a business in the middle of nowhere with no amenities around even sounds worse. Sometimes not even Internet presence can fix things for you if nobody is searching for you. There's got to be a reason why someone is searching for you, and if you don't provide them any reasons it's going to be a tough sell.
