This is one of Hawaii's scariest attractions for the holiday and includes a spooky canoe ride at the centers lagoon. Last year over 44,000 participated making it the most visited attraction of this kind in the state. This year promises to be even more scary with revamped special effects. The story and theme of the attraction centers around the legend of Laie Lady. As the tale is told, she is very restless and contains a vengeful spirit that is haunting her because of a tragedy that happened to her many years ago and now she wanders around the lagoon searching for her murdered husband and her lost son.
