The narrative of Christmas embodies the gospel's message of redemption and renewal. In this week's episode of the Alex McFarland Show, Alex explores the gospel themes present in Charles Dickens' timeless classic, A Christmas Carol, published on December 19th, 1843. Through reflection on his past and future, Scrooge underwent conviction and ultimately, a transformative conversion. As we celebrate Christmas, may we remember that the true essence lies not in material gifts, but in the Savior. The most profound gift we can receive is the sacrifice Jesus made for humanity.

Description:  Living in a world where the battle between good and evil is acknowledged both culturally and personally, we face the challenge of sin in our lives. On this week's episode of the Alex McFarland Show, Alex breaks down the scripture of John, chapter 3. The Bible is very clear that if we want to go to heaven, if we want to be with God in eternity, we must be born again. This episode is a sobering yet encouraging reminder that simply calling ourselves “Christian” won’t save us.
