Today, I’m introducing you to Chloe Raye, an artist I met this summer at a few art shows where she blew me away with her Nashville-country vibes. From that moment, I knew she had to be a part of my Live Event.
But beyond her amazing music, Chloe has a story worth sharing—one of growing up in North Dakota, pursuing big dreams, and breaking out of the mold. We talk about her journey, the support of her family, and the moment she realized her music career was possible. She also shares how she balances her bold dreams with practical realities, something I think we can all relate to.
Whether you’re a parent, an artist, or someone who’s figuring out your next steps, there’s so much inspiration here. Chloe’s a reminder that it’s possible to stay grounded while chasing after the life you truly want. Let’s dive in!

About Chloe Raye:
Eight years after performing her first show at the age of 15, North Dakota singer-songwriter Chloe Raye released her first original, Nashville-produced country single, “Better Than I Do”, on September 27, 2024.
Chloe Raye (formerly known as Chloe Marie) has had a knack for music from a very young age. She started writing songs at age 8 and released ten original songs under her former name in high school and early college. In her early years, she started out as a pop singer but made the switch back to her country roots in 2020.
In 2021 she began working with a team of music professionals based in Nashville, and quickly began building upon her rich, distinctive country sound. She performed more than 100 shows each year in 2022 and 2023, and is close to that number already in 2024. In 2023, she was named Best of the Best Specialty Artist/Performer by the Minot Daily News.
In August 2024, Chloe Marie rebranded herself, taking on the professional name of Chloe Raye, in preparation for her “Better Than I Do” release. Also in August, she performed her original song, “Old Enough”, with the Community Rocks Orchestra in Minot. Orchestra member Tim Olson wrote an orchestral score for her song, which she performed at Minot State’s outdoor amphitheater, with more than 30 symphony orchestra musicians.
In November, Chloe Raye will relocate to the Fargo area where she’ll focus on bringing her music to even more venues across the country. Visit her website – thechloeraye.com – where you’ll find her rapidly expanding tour schedule, along with links to her YouTube channel and social media accounts.
