The Alleged Wrestling Podcast

In what might be the slowest news week in the history of Wrestling, we scrape together a show. Vince McMahon steps down as WWE CEO as allegations are raised of misconduct, Sasha Banks may have been released and Jeff Hardy gets another DUI for the collection.

We close the show as we always do by picking our Best/Worst Match, Best/Worst Segment, Wrestler of the week and Show of the week.

Cody is out, Punk is out, Bryan is out but enough about what’s out, what’s in?! We cover it all from last Friday when we heard Punk was injured, all the confusion with the AEW title, the Cody stuff and all of the rest. Words.

Look, Fitz was at Double Or Nothing in Las Vegas last weekend and he tells all his tales but we spent a long time chatting MJF this week. The promo was fantastic, we tell you it’s fantastic and chat about where we see it going next.

We needed to do a short show this week due to various life thingies getting in the way. But, that meant we could just focus all the chat on AEW Double or Nothing 2022. Sure, this episode is going to age very quickly but hey, you can listen and see how right or wrong we were with our picks. Right??

Unfortunately, while recording this week's episode, our recording software had some technical difficulties so we lost the last hour of the show. We salvaged about 30 minutes of the audio where we covered Stephanie McMahon taking a leave of absence as well as Sasha Banks and Naomi walking out on Raw. Apologies for this, we’ll make it up to you all next week!

WrestleMania Paybacklash Roadblock End Of The Line over delivered, as did Dynamite, it was a pretty good week of wrestling! However, Wrestling Twitter exists so we had to tackle the huge topics of the week for people who need to go outside.

We cover a busy week of AEW action as well as the latest comings of VEER, and others. Casual fans of course exist, to suggest otherwise is insane, but that doesn't mean AEW should not cater to their own fan base…why is wrestling Twitter so warped on this?

Not sure what the lads talked about this week as I had to take this week off.. Probably the lights out stuff on AEW and the twitter reaction. Look, it’s always a good show!
