The Alleged Wrestling Podcast

Thoughts on AEW All Out, the big debuts and if AEW PPVs are too long.

We cover this week's AEW Dynamite, NXT and some of the Raw and Smackdown from this week.

We close the show as we always do by picking our Best/Worst Match, Best/Worst Segment, Wrestler of the week and Show of the week.

If the title does not entice you to find out what a “Jim Gordette” is then I have no idea what else to write here.

Show starts out with Old Man Steve having his CM Punk moment, Ronaldo is home after 12 years. (Drinking ensues)

Thoughts on the Summerslam/Takeover weekend and the lackluster follow up AEW produced after the CM Punk debut on Rampage.

We went live right after AEW Rampage at 4:01am to talk about the debut of CM Punk, the response and where it goes next (probably, can’t remember tbh)

We finished out the show with WWE Summerslam and NXT Takeover 36 predictions.

Due to a massive “PA” situation we recorded a very quick podcast this week. This will be the fast podcast you listen to that barely scratcted the surface of AEW, NXT and Raw. Sorry, it couldnt be helped!

We’ll be back to normal next week for the CM Punk debut, Summerslam and NXT Takeover.

We had recorded the show on Friday before the NXT releases but we spliced in a segment recorded after the releases to start the show. WWE released 13 more NXT wrestlers during Smackdown, what is going on with NXT?

All of the NXT releases are covered, what does it mean for people like Adam Cole and Pete Dunn who are ready to sign anywhere they want.

We cover this week's AEW Dynamite, NXT and some of the Raw and Smackdown from this week. Where is the Hangman Page story going, and the rest.

CM Punk is all but confirmed for AEW as the Hangman Page story takes a left turn. Have AEW put this on hold for now or is it just one last twist on the road to All Out?

Also, the rest of the wrestling including new Deathmatch King Matt Cardona, Dominos vs AEW, Raw, NXT and Balor being the number one contender. The week, essentially. Fancy that.

With this week's news of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan reportedly signing with AEW we discuss if we think either will happen and if they do how we would book the debuts.

WWE Raw was terrible this week and spawned two new 24/7 worst of the year award winners from 5 different Raw nominations. What in the hell have they done to Karrion Kross and Keith Lee?

It’s the usual mix of not talking about wrestling until we talk about wrestling that you know and love.

Crowds finally returned to Wrestling this week, what a time to be alive. We talk about an excellent episode of AEW Dynamite, another great episode of NXT and RAW was also a show that was on TV this week.

We wrap up with our WWE Money In The Bank 2021 predictions.

We get in to this weeks news including Jimmy Uso’s latest DUI, Tommy End is Malakai Black and has debuted in AEW, Raw hits its lowest ever rating, 25th anniversary of the nWo and probably loads more? I haven't listened back to it to be honest. I'd say it's pretty good.

Thoughts on a great episode of AEW Dynamite, NXT’s edition of Great American Bash and then Raw having something to do with the Loch Ness Monster or something? Shoutout Nessie.
