The Alleged Wrestling Podcast

The worst segment in WWE History is the question but it’s definitely the worst of 2019. We kick off the show with that awful Corbin/Big Dog thing, lawd.

CM Punk returns (kinda) to WWE TV, the Jordan Myles/ACH situation, AEW Full Gear quick thoughts, Wednesday Night Wars scorecard and all of the usual nonsense!

If this is your first time listening to us check out our weekly show! We record it live on Mixlr every Wednesday at 7.30pm (Irish time) talking WWE, NJPW etc and the big news items of the week, come join the chat! We talk Rollins on Twitter, Rollins vs Meltzer, Meltzer on OTT and all of the other news from this week before getting to a pretty decent Raw and a shamefully bad Smackdown in Manchester this week.

The Wednesday Night Disagreement has almost like-for-like ratings this week but who gets the point on our Weds Night War scoreboard? Furthermore, dentists are terrible people.

We finish up with predictions for AEW Full Gear

In a week packed with crazy wrestling news stories we somehow found time to talk about WWE Crown Jewel, AEW Dynamite, NXT, Raw, Smackdown, NWA Power, OTT 5th Anniversary...it’s all covered in a jam-packed episode! Oh, and WWE Plane stranded overseas conspiracy theories!

As week four of the “Wednesday Night Wars” comes to an end we discuss the best and worst moments.

Real Rock’n’Rolla Fergal Devitt or Heel Finn Balor? God, we’re such nerds. AEW is missing something, we discuss.

We also cover this weeks excellent edition of NWA Powerrr, a brief chat about Impact Bound For Glory, this weeks Raw and we finish up with a preview of OTT Wrestlings Fifth Anniversary show this weekend where Jordan Devlin defends the OTT World Championship against David Starr...which is the best built feud in wrestling over the past year… @ us.

So we went live after Smackdown at 3am Irish time to talk about the week that was in Wrestling. Fitz tells us tales of his trip to see Bret Hart at Inside the ropes to open the show. NWA Power continues to entertain as Raw and Smackdown, mixed with the draft, leave us scratching our heads. AEW Tag Team matches get the double barrell this week, are there any rules?!

Seriously, WWE, what are you doing?

The NWA takes us back to simpler times with simpler shows. We loved it, every second of it. AEW win the Wednesday Night ratings War for the second week in a row but both shows suffer big drops in viewership, where will they be in a month? Raw and Smackdown were awful, we discuss! We close with a lengthy rant on the Hell In A Cell main event finish, enjoy!

After a week of non stop Wrestling the lads sit down on Saturday morning to discuss it all. The first week of the “Wednesday Night Wars” and WWE Premier Week all rolled into one neat little package. Will AEW stay ahead of NXT in the ratings? Did Kofi really need to go out like that? What the hell was that Lashley and Lana thing? Tyson Fury and Cain Velasquez. You know, all of the stuff...

It’s our two year anniversary show! We only realised it ourselves a few days ago, so we had to fling a show together! The boys got drunk at work, left, and then continued that theme for the Podcast! We cover all of this week's AEW UK TV deal hilarity, this weeks NXT Live and the bigger items from this week's main roster misery.

It's the first show in our new live Saturday morning time slot and of course we were an hour late going live and then Gordo didn't show up until the middle of the show. Great success!

It's one of those shows where we EVENTUALLY started talking about Wrestling.

We mostly cover the first live NXT show from this week and where we see the Wednesday Night Wars going before covering the bigger stuff from Raw and Smackdown this week.

Luckily it was a busy week for wrestling news topics because WWE from MSG didn't give us much to talk about! We discuss UFC 242 and Khabibs dominance, the Rev Pro referee incident, Gears 5, Anthem buying AXS TV, Ric Flair and his crazy lawsuit and of course we talk about the bigger stuff from WWE TV this week. We close with Clash of Champions Predictions.
