regenerate those resources that year.

Tamryn Raynor is a matric learner at Wordsworth High School in Benoni. She spoke to us about being the youngest licenced boxing assistant coach and making history for being the youngest female coach in SA.

Our Thought Leader, Dr Morné du Plessis, chief executive officer of WWF South Africa spoke about the Amazon rain forest fires.
He was followed by Jacob van Garderen, Director of The Public Interest Practice, who spoke about the International Association of Refugee and Migration Judges’ Africa Chapter 2019 Conference.

Jo-Ann Bekker author of Asleep Awake Asleep, spoke about her book which entails 39 interlinked short stories which can be read as a hand-drawn narrative map, charting the course of South Africa’s turbulent history.

South African musician and charismatic guitarist Sibusile Xaba, reframes maskandi into his own humanist manifesto. He spoke to us about his debut LP, Open Letter to Adoniah which was released by local label Mushroom Hour Half Hour.
