Nikki Wilsworth, curator of the The Design Assemblage, talks about this brand new and exciting design district workspace in Johannesburg.

We spoke to South Africa’s first female officer who is able to navigate a submarine, Lieutenant Gillian Malouw. She spoke to us about joining the sea cadets when she was doing Grade 7 after her cousins had already been members for a while.

Freshlyground musician Zolani Mahola, who is also a storyteller, an actress, a speaker and an agent for social change.

Zolani, is currently working on new stories, music and performances as part of her solo repertoire to be recorded, performed and released this year.

La Boqueria is an all-day eatery based in Parktown North, which takes its inspiration from iconic food markets, such as London’s Borough Market and Barcelona’s La Boqueria on Las Ramblas.

Our Guest Presenter was Taffia Keight, owner of Whacked Management, one of South Africa’s longest-running comedy and talent management and production agency.
She spoke to us about how she left a lucrative corporate job and ventured into the entertainment industry managing some of SA’s biggest comedians.

We were also joined by Taffia’s two guests : Alfred Adriaan, Comedian and exclusive artist to Whacked Management and Kate Goliath, Managing Director of Goliath and Goliath. Kate’s role includes managing Jason, Nicholas and Donovans comedy careers.
