Nomsa Mazwai, aka NomiSupasta spoke to us about the UJ Weekend of Jazz 2019 event taking place from 23 to 25 August 2019. Organised by UJ Arts & Culture, the event will present musicians such as Gabi Motuba, Nduduzo Makhatini, NomiSupasta, Titi Luzipo and Spha Mdlalose.

Ten-year-old Relebogile Mothema, a grade 4 pupil at St Andrew’s School for Girls has written about her experience with bullying & childhood obesity in her book “Bizzarcar”, The book aims to draw the reader’s attention towards the social challenges around eating junk food and obesity - a challenge many children face in the modern age. Relebogile and her mom Khanyisa Teffo joined us in studio to talk about the book.

Cheslyn Jacobs – Head of Sales and Service at TymeBank spoke to us about a recent study which found that 76% of South Africans run out of money before the end of the month . The study, titled “More Month Than Money” was conducted by World Wide Worx and commissioned by TymeBank in an effort to get a deeper understanding of the challenging financial realities that South Africans face today.

The Mediation Academy has created the free Web app for calculating child maintenance, aimed at solving South Africa's child maintenance problem and create new opportunities through the use of technology.
