The American Junglist

I first became aware of this weeks guest maybe 3 years ago? I heard there was this guy playing festivals in central Florida and  he mixed like a maniac.....Like A.M.C (it turns out John is fucking bananas🍌 🍌🍌on the decks) I got to see him at the  first Cybefunx hosted by Deejay Zion in Orlando. He smoked the place! Since then I have had the pleasure of getting to see him a few more times and even play a few events with him. John is the best!!!! Special human right here... Total vibe. Personally, my favorite DJ's are the ones that have a dedication to the craft. I'm pretty sure this weeks guest would be making mixtapes anyway. Even if nobody knew who she was. Her influence on American Bass Music culture can not be overstated. Her labels, Play Me and Play Me Too are known for a steady stream of dance floor bangers and have been for years. From Omen to LMNOP to Dialective, She has her finger on the pulse of our culture.  She's a premium selector and a fucking wicked DJ. Please welcome Reid Speed. Links and tracklist below.

As a DJ who has been at this for a very long time, there aren't a whole lot of DJ's I'll stick around for after my set. With that being said, when this weeks guest is on the lineup, I'll stay. She's a whole vibe and her strength is versatility. She's as comfortable behind the decks as she is at a DAW. Representing West Florida, please welcome back AnnGree. Tracklist below.

Sometimes I forget how good my friends are and then I listen to their mixtapes. 3 mixes into this one and I remember why this weeks guest stays booked. The Dark one! She's one of my favorite humans, one of my favorite DJ's, she's got a dog that's probably more famous than her and she's the genius behind one of Floridas best DNB nights, Renegade Sound. Representing Florida DNB, please welcome back DARCIIDARKA. Tracklist and upcoming shows below.

I have to work really hard to be some semblance of "put together" I'm kind of a neurotic mess. Every time I see this weeks guest, I always admire how he's just effortlessly cool. That energy carries into in his music too. He's one of thoe people that just radiates positive energy. His music and his mixtapes have his own distinct Ruffneck jungle sound and we just love it. Representing the Tampa Bay, please welcome back PopeJohn.
