Welcome to the Americhicks podcast.
Kim Monson is your host - Agree or disagree, let's have a conversation!
Helen Raleigh is in studio with Kim today as her guest Chick for today.
Later in the program, Helen and Kim will discuss China.
In specific they will discuss Hong Kong and the protests we have been seeing there.
Last evening the Democrat debates took place.
There will be another round of debates this evening.
Did you watch?
Did you watch the whole of it?
Reprsentative Tim Ryan did not place his right hand over his heart during the Star-Spangled Banner.
Kim and Helen are joined by Michael Fields.
Recently anti TABOR (Tax Payers Bill of Rights) individuals and groups have blamed TABOR for the condition of Colorado roads.
Michael Fileds disagrees and has written a piece in Complete Colorado in which he says the proper blame belongs with the state legislators and not TABOR (tinyurl.com/y6lhqscb).
Are the Hong Kong protests Beijing’s new Tiananmen Square?
Helen Raleigh, who was born in China, will explain how China's state-run media hid the Hong Kong anti-extradition protests until things turned violent, a ploy eerily reminiscent of the infamous 1989 protests.
Plus we’ll talk about a beautiful charity that Helen supports, Cuddle Cots.
