Last weekend was a very violent and bloody one in Chicago.

Hopefully this weekend will see calm and peace.

The mayor of Chicago, Rahm Emanuel, is facing a tough reelection.

The remains of some of our missing Korean War Veterans are begining to be returned to us from North Korea.

We are so very thankful for that, but lets keep the pressure on North Korea.

Preseason NFL is underway and the "taking a knee" during our National Anthem has returned.

NYC is capping Uber and Lyft to a certain amount of vehicles.

This impacts citizens and their transportation options, it will impact the cost of an Uber and Lyft ride, and it takes away opportunities from would be drivers to earn extra income.

In December 2018, our crew will take on the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge which has challenged individuals and teams from around the world for years.

The men and women who have served on behalf of the United States face many challenges during and after their military service.

Each stroke we row increases the momentum toward our ultimate mission of increasing awareness of and support for the cognitive, behavioral, and physical health of U.S. Military/Veteran personnel.

Together, our fight will go toward ensuring that our Veterans know that despite anything that has happened in their lives – Veterans can grow, develop, excel, and achieve anything they want.

Michael Cutler (michaelcutler.net) is a retired Senior Special Agent of the former INS (Immigration and Naturalization Service) whose career spanned some 30 years.

He served as an Immigration Inspector, Immigration Adjudications Officer and spent 26 years as an agent who rotated through all of the squads within the Investigations Branch.

For half of his career he was assigned to the Drug Task Force.

Major Fredric Arnold survived, the almost unheard of number of, 50 combat missions.

Of the original fourteen guys of his class, only two pilots survived, Major Arnold and Jim Hagenbach.

They made a vow to each other that the last survivor would do something to remember their fallen comrades.

When Major Arnold received the call that Jim was on his death bed, Major Arnold rushed to the hospital.

Jim said, "Don't Forget the Promise!"

At the age of 90, Major Arnold began this amazing "Lest We Forget Sculpture" (lestweforgetsculpture.org) to remember the 88,000 airman who gave their lives in WWII.

For the next couple of months, you can see this sculpture at the Wings Over the Rockies Air Museum before if is moved toThe National WWII Museum in New Orleans.
